I’m from Wolves, I haven’t paid that much attention to Jota, but when I have watched Wolves he kind of reminds me of Dirk Kuyt.

Bout time, I've been waiting for a Kuyt replacement for 8 years.

Always been a bit "meh" about Hoever.

He's shown some talent, but he's got no obvious path to the first team being that Trent is only young and not likely to move to midfield anytime soon (or at all) and we've maybe 2 others ahead of him even if he does. Same goes at CB.

So makes sense to move him on, both for the club and for the player.

Not sure if there will be a sell on fee included, but it wouldn't be surprising if there was.

It is an incredible fee for our 3rd choice RB who has never played a league game of football.

Think it's done, or close to it. Poor Sarr, getting the Jamal Lewis treatment. Would have been interested in seeing him under Klopp, but Jota feels much more of a sure thing - even though I don't think he's someone any of us were suggesting we go for! Which is a bit weird really, considering he's a starting wide forward for one of the best clubs in the country

Jota makes a lot more sense than Sarr.  Quick, comfortable on either foot, hard worker and good footballing brain.  Gets a decent amount of goals and assists too.

Wolves felt to me like one of those clubs that are good enough and well funded enough that it would be difficult to take one of their players without paying way over the odds, similar to Leicester. It seems there are no barriers that Edwards can't break down.

To be fair, we've been at the front of the queue for a lot of top level talent for a few years now with VVD and Alisson, but it never gets old.

If we end the window with Tsimikas, Thiago, and Jota, with no major outgoings, thats up there with the 2018 window for me. Even better if we can get a back up CB too, but not necessarily required stuff.
