In the episode where Homer has the same name as the really good cop in a TV show and buys loads if scarves. Whats the phrase he says when he whips the scarf?

The simpsons is of course responsible for people on the Internet using the word "meh" to show ambivalence.
This annoys the hell out of me!

Lisa Simpson has a lot to answer for!

The one where Homer and Bart work at the carnival.

There's a sketch where they both have to bite a chicken's head off as an initiation to become a carny. So simple yet so funny, gets me every time.

Just watched the episode about B-Sharps before, and this cracked me up...

(on a boat, with the statue of liberty in the backdrop)

Homer - "Just want to dedicated this song to a woman who's 100ft tall and weighs 200... pounds"

Random guy - "Oh god! This giant woman will devour us all" (jumps over board)

Homer - "...I was talking about the statue"
These are the days when I hate the world, hate the rich, hate the happy, hate the complacent, the TV watchers, beer drinkers, the satisfied ones. Because I know I can be all of those little hateful things and then I hate myself for realising that.

Lemon of Troy has to be a contender for best episode of all-time, that episode is just filled with amazing quotes.

"Sounds like Springfield's got a discipline problem"

"Maybe that's why we beat them at football nearly half the time."

Genius.

I love the ones that are nice and simple.

When the bear attacks Evergreen Terrace and the police shoot it with a tranquiliser but also shoot Barney. Then forest patrol come and put the bear in a net and throw it in a van sayin "animal patrol" then as soon as thats gone you see a van saying "moes" and Barney in a net getting threw into a van  ;D

Just watched the 'It's a mad mad mad mad world' piss take, best parody they did in my opinion especially when they dig the hole under the big t. Someone says 'how do we get out' and homer says 'let's dig our way out'  :D
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

And the amazing Sugar Man episode was on the other day;

Marge: Homer, when are you going to give up this crazy sugar scheme?
Homer: Never, Marge!  Never.  I can't live the button-down life like you.  I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles.  Sure, I might offend a few of the bluenoses with my cocky stride and musky odors -- oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "City Fathers" who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about "What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?"
Marge: Look, just get rid of the sugar, OK?

Beekeeper 1: Well, sure is quiet in here today.
Beekeeper 2: Yes, a little too quiet, if you know what I mean.
Beekeeper 1: Hmm...I'm afraid I don't.
Beekeeper 2: You see, bees usually make a lot of noise.  No noise -- suggests no bees!
Beekeeper 1: Oh, I understand now.  Oh look, there goes one now.
Beekeeper 2: To the Beemobile!
Beekeeper 1: You mean your Chevy?

Homer: Somebody had to take the babysitter home. Then I noticed she was sitting on [splice] her sweet [splice] can.  [splice] -- o I grab her -- [splice] sweet can.  [splice] Oh, just thinking about [splice] her [splice] can [splice] I just wish I had he --[splice] sweet [splice] sweet [splice] s-s-sweet [splice] can.

Jones: So, Mr. Simpson: you admit you grabbed her can. What do you have to say in your defence?

Homer: [looking lustful in a clearly-paused VCR shot]

Jones: Mr. Simpson, your silence will only incriminate you further. [paused shot of Homer grows larger] No, Mr. Simpson, don't take your anger out on me. Get back! Get back! Mist -- Mr. Simpson -- nooo!
