He's trying to play mind games and create a seige mentality but he's still a c*nt.

But i'll tell you something for nothing you whiskey nosed old fucker, you haven't met someone of Rafa's ilk before. He'll play mind games with the best of them, and win. Bring it on bitch.

Someone should point out to these two that the Premier League Fixtures were released on June 16th.

The Champions League draw wasn't made until 28th of August.

This may be true but the match days for the Champions League are known when the Premier League arrainges their fixtures. What the League does not know is which day any team is home or away in the CL at that point though.
Either we are a club of supporters or become a club of customers.

Excatly - had United been drawn in a different Champions League group they would have had the majority of home fixtures and he wouldn't have been threatening to send Maurice Watkins or whoever to sit and watch a computer next summer.

Not really as he's saying they play a league game away after each Champions League game (home or away isn't mentioned). Doesn't excuse it but best to get the facts straight...

This is where the problem lies:

Quote
"I have been saying for a few months we have been handicapped by the Premier League fixture list,'' said Ferguson.

"They tell me it is not planned but I have my doubts.

"I am not saying what they do down there but next year we will be sending someone to see how it works I can assure you because I just don't understand how you can get the fixtures like that.''

Poisonous shite and sharp practice. He should be up on another charge of bringing football into disrepute.

Given the money and time he's had - I'm sure any half-decent manager would have easily achieved what he has.

Given that time and money his record in Europe has been abysmal.

Hes a great manager like Shankly, Clough, Busby. However Bob Paisley is still a better manager than him.

How come, what i said was true when he arrived as manager they were a midtable team with only Bryan Robson

I tell you what the conspiracy is.  The number of times this fucking shithouse berates the authorites from match referee, head of the referee's board, the FA, Premier League and gets away with it.

This is a very bitter thread. Like it or lump it hes a great manager and if it wasnt for him the Mancs would be nowhere near us in terms of trophies and stature

I suspect yet another Manc pretending to be one of us. And here's why:

Their is an argument here that the Mancs have been harshly treated by the FA down the years. E.G Ferdinands missed test with an 8 month ban. Wheras Adrian Mutu (Chelsea) was caught actually taking drugs and got a 3 month ban.

I can understand why the Mancs think were obsessed with them.......embarassing

The diffrence being when Fergie does this his players accept his decision............Wheras if Rafa does it the players will tell him to fuck off and say they want to play internationals.
Fergie has his players wrapped around his little finger. fair play

You obviously missed the match at Old Trafford when Rooney and a United Reserve in Nani humilated him for their third goal

to be honest this stat is misleading as he has played 37 games this season while Van Der Saar has played 28.
Utd have kept 20 clean Sheets we have kept 17.
So if Van Der Saar wasnt rested or injured as much it would deffo be his award as Kuchak in goal definately weakens them

Hmmm, maybe I'm wrong though, despite pretty much 90% of your posts being on the subject of the Mancs. Oh, but the best of all, one of our own fans downplaying one of our European Cup wins?:

Mate stop being bitter the Mancs won the CL last year fair and square.....Anyway if your talking about shit opponents look at the teams we had to face in 1977 to win the cup.

Debatable mate, because its not that's you "dont diss" them, it's that you defend them so much, and give them so much praise. Frankly I think that does make you less of a fan actually.

What the hell is a "general football fan who supports Liverpool" mean? Are you a fan of football generally or of us?

I'm a Liverpool fan that has a deep, abiding and overwhelming respect for Manchester United, its fans, its ground, its manager and its players.

Jesus christ, did you lot just start watching football?

Ferguson has been doing this sort of stuff for 20 years, even when he hasn't got a valid point as it is with this case. These fixtures were arranged months before the CL draw was done, i'm surprised it took 2 pages for somebody to say that.

Of course United are at a disadvantage, but it's just bad luck. Secretly Ferguson will be very happy with how United have come out of that potentially dangerous 1st half of the season with United very much still in the title race and a world cup to show for it aswell.

And this is how you'd put it , if you support somebody else than United:

God he's such a c*nt

I cant wait for him to be gone, this is all part of his management techinique.

Gogetta, not sure if it was you, but weren't you downplaying the Super Cup after you lot lost it this season? The World Club Championship is similar in that it's not that important (obviously nice to win it) and I'm sure you wouldn't care that much if you hadn't won it. You do seem to mention it in a lot of your posts.

Also, we all know Ferguson has been doing it for years, and getting away with it.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.
