I wouldn't say soon, I might get to it over the summer. Couple of things need fixing and I need to make it a pref rather than purely device settings.

There's some weird stuff, like the top area doesn't display that well sometimes (I probably notice it more cos I've got extra things in there) and I need to bin off the area for an avatar if a user doesn't have one. There's some icons I haven't made yet (don't have illustrator any more so bit fucked there to be honest), some stuff I haven't made dark mode compatible deep in the admin panels.

Just all little bits, but front end is also my day job so like, be arsed at times

the only thing I've noticed (and it may be intentional) is that the thread title doesn't display next to each post when browsing in portrait mode.

If you rotate to Landscape it does display, however, hence my thought that it was a design feature

Been using the mobile version for a while now. Wanted to switch back initially but decided to stick with it and have gradually got used to the differences.

There are a couple of things I miss. They’re not big things but the mods don’t show up as clearly without the stars as their stars are green. I do also miss the full custom titles bit.

edit: I just noticed someone mentioned portrait mode above so turned my phone sideways and found the stuff Im missing. Be nice if it was possible in portrait as you don’t get much on screen when the phone is sideways

the latter part of your edit is why so much of the fluff is hidden

I hid certain things that didn't really add any value or were being difficult on the smaller format. The titles can probably come back, the stars are a pain.

Was also thinking about increasing the font size.

Really liking the mobile version so far.

I didn't know about the titles in landscape so after seeing it talked about in this thread I tried it - turns out that fixes the one thing I was going to mention.

I was going to ask if we could have part of each post be a link to that specific post in the thread (so for example if you reach the end of a thread and want to see if there's any new posts without losing your place on the page, you'd just click the link to the last post).

Now I know I can just quickly flip my phone to landscape to do that, so that solves it for me.

I have been doing it for people who've asked, just takes me to their profile when I do it and haven't been arsed to come back and post.

Really loving dark mode. Far easier on the eyes.

On my mobile (S22+) it's still in light mode but I guess that might be because I've got the phone theme in light mode ? Things are a little bit squished on mobile but I can deal with it.

Yeah it goes off system theme at the mo, I can do a toggle but bit more work and I’d need a local setup that I just can’t seem to get the willpower to setup.

Hi Claire - been using dark mode for ages but last few months i've quite literally been terrorized by the spirit of Shankly (as below). Main page and in-thread page is fine, just the sub-forum pages. Reckon you could try turning it off and on again for me? Or any other ideas!? Thanks!

looks like it was - seem to have several dark mode extensions and 1 of them was causing it - cheers!
