Does anyone have any idea on decent pubs near the ground? Don't really fancy a swift one in Frankie & Benny's.

Meant to be Bletchley for the ground and not much around there apparently at all. I'm getting there about 5pm as I need to pick up tickets off several people to then give to other people. There's fuck all near Milton Keynes station either in the way of boozers as my mate lives there and I used to get the train there and then get in his car. I'll have to do some research into this today. I'll need a couple of swift ones early doors before I'm standing around outside the away end  ;D

Still no ticket from the Thursday sale for me. Not sure why it hasn't arrived. Anyone else have this issue?

Also sorry if has been asked before but what do I do if it doesn't turn up? Annoyingly can't call the ticketing office now as it's closed.

Wait to see if it turns up in tomorrow’s post, if not ring the ticket office and you will have to pick a duplicate up from the ground

£1.00 booking fee to book their already overpriced bus, so £7.00 return with no option for one-way.  Taking the piss there.

Industrial estates across the road from M&S offer supervised parking. It WILL be JAMMED around there though from about an hour before k.o! Locals are wise to it too - so maybe park on a nearby housing estate and walk. Bletchley is your best bet but the traffic is horrific around there on any normal match day.

Which way do you recommend if getting to the stadium from Milton Keynes central?

Assuming you mean MK Central Railway station and walking? Easy.

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Milton+Keynes+Central,+Milton+Keynes+MK9+1AZ,+United+Kingdom/MK+Dons,+Stadium+Way+West,+Bletchley,+Milton+Keynes,+UK/@52.0218476,-0.7718529,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x4877000979c605f3:0x589bc8778e2ba794!2m2!1d-0.7737774!2d52.0344382!1m5!1m1!1s0x487655301e83839d:0xf7d7c911ec69ecb4!2m2!1d-0.7334179!2d52.0096813!3e2

3 miles.

Plenty of cabs outside the station, the left are the black cabbies - but EXPENSIVE! To the right you can pre-order a Skyline cab 01908 222111 but demand will be high.

Buses go just outside, left or right, depending on which route/destination.

Personally, I'd look at jumping on to a local train to Bletchley station and walking from there.....

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Station+Approach,+Bletchley,+Milton+Keynes+MK3+6DS,+UK/MK+Dons,+Bletchley,+UK/@52.0020568,-0.7528128,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x48765516fa848b5b:0xb8990223433589cf!2m2!1d-0.7371633!2d51.9948833!1m5!1m1!1s0x487655301e83839d:0xf7d7c911ec69ecb4!2m2!1d-0.7334179!2d52.0096813!3e2

If anyone is thinking of driving all the way to the ground area, parking is heavily marshalled and checked - don't even think of trying to get away with parking at the Asda or IKEA. Even the industrial estates for a couple of miles around are marshalled. If you can afford it, fair enough - I've parked behind Magnet (on the V6, just opposite the retail park where M&S is) but again it'll be busy. If I recall, it was a fiver, which went to a local charidee or something. That was a normal league game though.

Rush hour around the A5, V6, V7 and H8, H9 tends to end around 18:30.......which is also when traffic will build up for the match, so......fucked either way really.

Nowhere near to the ground, for sure. Nearest places I'd consider trying would be Fenny Stratford, Simpson village, Caldecotte Lakes. Places like Bletchley, Bean Hill, Coffee Hall, Netherfield or Tinkers Bridge are........hmm.......notorious........

You might want to try Furzton Lake or nearby.

All those places involve a degree of walking afterwards.

Car numbers in MK have increased exponentially over recent years. On-street, free parking is getting harder to come by.
