Would Game have taken full payment on pre-orders?  I only ever get charged when they dispatch my items in everything I've ordered (From other services such as Tesco/Shopto, never ordered anything from Game).  Scumbags if they have robbed people.

if you load up the game it says servers go live 00.00 CEST

So 11:01pm UK time?  Might give it a go before bed then.

I've downloaded the damn thing and I keep getting this decryption error when I attempt to install.  Was told the only way to over come it was to redownload.  Still have 5GB on a very slow connection.  With it going live I can only imagine it'll be finished some time tomorrow afternoon. (If I don't get the same error of course).  Why did this have to happen now??? So frustrating.

Anyone want to buy my loot.

So you're the one putting all this junk on the Auction House!

Have to laugh at anyone stupid enough to buy it though...

Haven't even tried to log in yet, will do that tomorrow but I guess this is a sneak preview...

The servers are busy at this time. Please try again later. (Error 37)

Picked up my CE copy today and some new headphones (not the stupidly overpriced Diablo themed ones) still have a few hours to kill so went and saw The Avengers again.

Just sitting here installing. And now we wait.

I'm off work, I got a big jar of weed, some high caffeine sodas and will be ordering in my lunch/dinner.

I am ready...

For fucks sake Blizzard have servers that can handle the load.

I'll probably be bitching on here in the next 8 hours about what a load of shit Blizzard and Diablo 3 are if I can't get in. I am embarrassingly still a child.

Ugh, I'm hoping the Asia and Europe servers were the guinea pigs, and that the NA servers will go smooth when it unlocks in about 3 hours or so. I have my doubts though.

You'd think that it releasing at midnight in every time zone would be a great way to ease in the servers, but as far as I know everything kicks off at 12:01am Pacific Time around the world. Madness.

It is a bit ridiculous how much of this game is reliant on Blizzard's servers. Enemies and items I believe area all housed, created, stored, etc on the servers. Am I just downloading/installing the graphics, maps and basic framework?

I'll probably wait until after I've finished the game on normal before looking at the artbook and stuff, but the Skull and the Soulstone USB are things of beauty.

Was exactly what I thought as well. Gonna be crazy fun being driven insane by timeout errors.

I've already read of 3 so far, the expected one being 37 from overload of people trying to log in. The other one I'm more worried about is some stupid error where the copy of Diablo 3 on your B. Net account doesn't take, and the game keeps telling you you don't have Diablo registered on your B. Net account.

Unreal how much I'm looking forward to this :P

It is ridiculous, right? It has to be the nostalgia I feel for Diablo 1 and 2. I remember Blizzard from Blackthorn/Lost Viking days.

I wasn't even going to buy the bloody thing until a week ago. Then suddenly a few friends all decided to get it so we could play and now I want to get in ASAP :P The server problems will no doubt make it even more excruciating in terms of anticipation!

Hopefully everything will be okay. I'm going to bed, I pray that I'll be able to wake up to this game tomorrow. It is a bit depressing that my problems lie with playing a game...

Works fine.  Logged in twice last night before bed and had no problems and tried just now.  Not opened my game to public yet though, people claiming very high latency when you do that.

Just played a couple hours of it, never played D1 or D2, really fun so far, all the characters seem a bit bland though.

Also my mate has dropped

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4078908193

And he has already completed normal on his Demon Hunter.

I've just finished the first act on my DH and really enjoying it.  Level 14 I think.  Only died once so far, hoping the other difficulties are a bit harder.

Server just died, almost beat act 1 before it did.

I would have been further, but I was accidentally playing on the US servers, and switching to Europe, means you have to create a new character.

God damn servers, nearly done act 1 I think, barbarian is so fun to just plow through everybody.

Wonder how much money people will earn via the auction house, nice insentive to keep playing if you find an epic you can sell for £5+

Got my monk to lv9 before I had to go to work, but brought my laptop along to play during work hours (I sit in the corner).  And what do you know, servers are down for an emergency patch.  Wankers.

Shouldn't have made it necessary to be online to play, but it lowers piracy, so of course they wouldn't.
Pretty happy with Arse taking it.

Luca#1956.. i'm sitting in the pacific time zone, but if anyone here happens to be playing on the US server, i'll be happy to share the booty.

one of the primary differences between d2 and d3 -- and the reason that leveling will not feel as much of a grind -- is because of how skill acquisition is spread from 1-60. in d2, you could have a whole tree by level 30 with still nightmare and hell difficulty to go.. granted the spell wouldn't be powerful, but here in d3, there are new runes and skills to unlock all the way to 60.

i love how the runes essentially allow you to "choose a spec." for example, i'm making my barb a group damage reduction/stunning meatshield. the runes dictate that and it's really an underappreciated aspect of the game. you can change your spec, either minor details or comprehensive facelifts, from skirmish to skirmish to fit your opposition. no need to "respec."

by the way, the passive skills for every class looking fucking rad. im spoiled for choice with my barb.

there were moments where in my four-person normal difficulty crusade, we easily could have died were we not paying more attention. there are some moments where after you're cruising along, you come up against 4-5 giants unexpectedly who can two-shot you. keeps you on your feet.

i can't wait to see what strategies will need to be implemented in the inferno difficulty. that must be part of why blizzard limited the player cap to four. if they had continued with eight or what not, it would just be damage spam. course there must be other reasons, and i was just as pissed as anyone that they f'ed up the midnight launch, but i'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here.
