Luca#1956.. i'm sitting in the pacific time zone, but if anyone here happens to be playing on the US server, i'll be happy to share the booty.
one of the primary differences between d2 and d3 -- and the reason that leveling will not feel as much of a grind -- is because of how skill acquisition is spread from 1-60. in d2, you could have a whole tree by level 30 with still nightmare and hell difficulty to go.. granted the spell wouldn't be powerful, but here in d3, there are new runes and skills to unlock all the way to 60.
i love how the runes essentially allow you to "choose a spec." for example, i'm making my barb a group damage reduction/stunning meatshield. the runes dictate that and it's really an underappreciated aspect of the game. you can change your spec, either minor details or comprehensive facelifts, from skirmish to skirmish to fit your opposition. no need to "respec."
by the way, the passive skills for every class looking fucking rad. im spoiled for choice with my barb.
there were moments where in my four-person normal difficulty crusade, we easily could have died were we not paying more attention. there are some moments where after you're cruising along, you come up against 4-5 giants unexpectedly who can two-shot you. keeps you on your feet.
i can't wait to see what strategies will need to be implemented in the inferno difficulty. that must be part of why blizzard limited the player cap to four. if they had continued with eight or what not, it would just be damage spam. course there must be other reasons, and i was just as pissed as anyone that they f'ed up the midnight launch, but i'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here.
