Just a bit of advice for people who want to start learning how to use PS.

Basically, I had no idea myself a year ago, but if you can teach yourself how to use the lasso tool, and navigate around different layers comfortably, your going to get some good results.

Its really not THAT hard. Thats the magic of PS, the software itself does 80% of the work.

So if your still a novice, and getting a bit frustrated, keep with it!!! This thread provides some great comic relief everyday for people...... so the more people use it, the better IMO.

Thought I would say something for the people beating themselves up who are just starting out.

I must admit, I started messing about with wallpapers and icons months ago, I just wasn't confident until the last few days to post anything. (And besides the abuse jonty got kept me away from the thread for ages).

Thank you Katrina Jane. Just to say obviously RAWK would never ever condone the illegal downloading of programmes, such as Adobe, and certainly not from say, a whole host of Torrent sites that are available to people, not by googling the question.
We will remove any links to illegal downloads, as soon as we're aware of them, even if that takes a while.
