He seems to be improving tremendously as the season goes (i think he is under the radar so far as our tremendous 3 are getting all the praises so far). If her continues his trajectory, he will be a monster at that central midfield position. Like juggernaut from the comics. When OX starts running forward with the ball....not many people can stop him.

Was clearly annoyed when he got subbed off. Can only imagine how demotivating it must be, when players who offer absolutely nothing to the team are kept in the starting XI every game, while the likes of Chamberlain who work their socks off and try to create something are rewarded with a spot on the bench or subbed off early.

crazy.. he was way off today, he has been brilliant lately but today he was sloppy with possession, way off with his passing and got caught out a few too many times. He tried hard but wasn't his day.
Having Welbeck try and mark Pirlo is ridiculous. It's like trying to get a golden retriever to stop a tennis ball machine.Because one is a machine designed for a very specific purpose that it is peerless at, and the other is a fucking dog.

He isn’t Cans biggest fan.

In fact he posts pretty exclusively slagging him off

Quote
If only Grujic was half german so he would get picked, instead of that excuse of a footballer Emre Can.

Quote
Opening two minutes, two mistakes by Can leading to a goal. VVD won't make any difference if Klopp keeps insisting on playing Emre Can in midfield. He just stands by and lets the opposition pass.

Quote
A hattrick of fuck-ups by our captain for every single goal we conceded. I told you VVD won't make a difference when Klopp keeps playing Can in the middle.

Quote
Ironic that Klopp likes hard working players, gegenpress etc, yet drops Ox and Gini and keeps playing Can.  ::)

Quote
Even Suarez wouldn't do anything with this midfield. Can takes 10 touches just to turn and pass it square to Lucas who does the same thing until one of them decides to just go long. Pathetic!

Quote
Fantastic defending from Can for Benteke's second goal. Back to his best after putting a decent performance the last two games. Lallana and Henderson can't come back soon enough.

Like....he literally only posts to slate Can :D

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

It might be an unpopular opinion here but I rate both Lallana and Milner's footballing brain over his.If only Adam was fully fit and Milner was five years younger.

As good as that goal was, hoping to see a gif of that turn on the halfway line that dropped Kompany and opened up the entire City half for him. Deserved a goal for the sheer speed at which he pulled it off.

Should have released Firmino for a 1v1 but made a terrible decision. It's clear that there is so much more to come from Ox but decision-making and a bit of confidence is key. That and he needs to improve his passing, but I think that'll come with confidence.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

As good as he was tonight, and has been for us in general, he's going to be on another level entirely next season.

The potential he has is scary.  I'm made up he's ours and we'll get to see him fulfill that potential under Klopp, the sky is the limit for him.

Yes for sure. But he was in a similar situation against Newcastle a few weeks ago and played a perfect pass into Salah. So he can definitely pick a pass out while travelling at pace with the ball.

Great signing. I think everyone thought it was a meh one and overpriced at the time, but he fits this side perfectly and is a far better player than any of us thought. Works perfectly in a Klopp team.

That said - can you imagine how fucking shite he'd have been at Chelsea this year? Just goes to show how much being in the right team in the right system makes a difference to a player.

Mental that the obvious gap in our team is already sorted for next season and it's the best option available.

I think Oxlade-Chamberlain kicks on next season too. A full pre-season now Klopp's worked out how best to use him, as he comes into his prime years. Exciting stuff.
