Topic: Leverkusen fans feeedback

Was just on a Leverkusen forum to see what they were saying.

From my dodgy German this is what I piced up.

-Liverpool supporters are the loudest and most faithfull

-Constant comparisons to Arsenal fans..."Arsenal is like a cemmetary. Anfield is the true example of what a stadium should be for atmosphere"

-Liverpool fans are super faithfull, whether winning or losing, they are always singing

-The Liverpool fans were super friendly.  And very fair

-All LFC fans I came in contact with were very easy to talk and drink with.

-After seeing Liverpool, I think all English people friendly...Imagine that! (I like this one, looks like LFC fans make English fans of lesser class look good. And to think it is the Liverpool fans who have been held up to make England look bad in the past!!)

-Liverpool and the fans are definatly nota team I would ever have problems with.



All quotes are paraphrased cept the one with quotation marks which is a bit more direct (but again, dodgy translations)

Nice from the Leverkusen fans assuming your german is reliable  

Their fans were possibly the loudest fans weve had in Europe this season (maybe Dorty, dunno) - Barca who?? Most of the fuckin fans they took were from the Spanish dept at my Uni!!

Looks that way. In another post, a long one pretty much saying how good Liverpool was, he said this.

"I have never felt as welcome in a world stadium, or in any city as I have in Liverpool. Also the police at Anfield were no problems, and very good. I ask to all Leverkusen fans give The Reds a nice reception on Tuesday, (can't tell the next part, think it says they earned it) THANK YOU LIVERPOOL! WHO LET THE REDS OUT!"


Also another post talking about the Albert and how there was no problems going in with Leverkusen colors. And how the beer was great. One statment read "nearly 500 people singing so loud in such a small area. It is no mystery after being in there why it is so loud in Anfield"

As for the fans..compliments all round yet again. It was damn good Weds night...and I guess the Liverpool fans have always been well known for their hospitality to away fans. And as for the atmosphere...get it like it was against Bayer and Roma every game and you could officially rename the place "Fortress Anfield" once again.
