Thought I wouldn't like this but been impressed so far. Up to episode 7.

Bit cheesy and nostalgic in places but think that's on purpose and actually helps me at least enjoy the show.

^ Yep. Watchable I suppose due to the credit and goodwill it built up with season one. One of the good things is they deal with adult aspects in terms of life decisions, makes you think about it.

A lot of the rest though, it just didn't have the same quality. Robbie's still the same shit actor unable to emote. The only emotional point of the series for me was seeing Miguel fall and break his back, that final mass brawl was great. One of the favourite characters in a while and they do that to him, hard to watch though I'm sure they were aware of the emotional impact it would have due to his popularity and were going for it...

Finished watching Season 2 and really interesting to see where they take this now. Loving the soundtrack and how they are managing to shoe horn most of the tunes from Karate Kid. Just 'You're the best' and 'Glory of Love' to go now!

Anyone still watching this into season 3?

Had been holding off on the most recent season to enjoy at a good time, but have binged it in the last few days.

I think it's still great fun and the tone, even when serious, is spot on for my viewing mood after working.

As with comments on season 2, some of the turnarounds and developments come about quite quickly, but on the other hand I respect them not rinsing the format into twice as many episodes. The rushed developments aren't too out of place in the melodrama and earnest fun mix
