He's said he want regular game time. He's already too good to be sitting on the bench as a backup.

I'd sell him next summer but insert a buy back clause.

Or just loan him out.

Or just loan him out.

Unless you think Alisson is leaving the season after that there's no point to a loan.

Liverpool won’t be letting Caomhin Kelleher leave the club this summer, but a difficult conversation awaits at the end of next season.

David Lynch certainly knows his Twitter audience. That is probably why he is not working for any serious media at the moment ...

Sterling can dream of coming back all he wants but I wouldn’t have him in the team ahead of any of our current options. The fee and wages just don’t make sense, he’ll fit in well at Chelsea.

Has Sterling got one more year left on his contract?

If so then its possible that we could replace Salah with another player who is out of contract such as Sterling or Gnabry.

I think a team might pay close to that out of desperation. I would take Sterling back but right now we dont need him and his wage demands would probably make him our top earner, which is never happening.

A very nice chap, David Lynch, and of course someone who worked for the club for a decent stint.  :wave

Kelleher may feel like he’s running to stand still at this stage. There’s a desire to play football. Ideally in the Zooropa league or better.

Not sure about the loans over the last couple of days. Bradley going to a League One side doesn't shout out to me that he's majorly got a future here, particularly with the signing of Ramsay. But he's only about to turn 19, so if he has a good season there and returns next summer he's still only 20 and can potentially get a better loan to see where we are. But it looks more likely that he ends up in a similar place to Harry Wilson. Koumetio turns 20 soon so a good age to be getting regular first team football, but not really feeling the Austrian league and I dont think Austria Vienna are a particularly good team in that league.

You probably have to consider their positions when judging progress, how many clubs are happy to have a youngster starting in central defence, while I don't expect him to remain with us long term either, he's probably got another season after this one with a better loan to try and convince the club he could have a future with us.

wouldn’t take anything Salihamidžić says as gospel.

All the soundbites that will now come out will be to pump up Bayerns' already astronomical ego and to make it look like Mane is going to a better club and couldn’t wait to get away from Liverpool.

Indeed, they will also gloss over the 360k reasons why he opted to sign for them rather than signing an extension with us too.  ;D

Will we renew his contract if he's got a six year deal?

Isn't it part of how we work though, players earning an improved contract through their performances for us, avoiding any agent-related nonsense and also potentially helping with future transfers since they will see that there is an established progression path rather than the bouncing from club to club every 2-3 seasons that some players opt to do.
