Pretty pleased with my selection in the end, decent mix of some fun pulpy/b-movie stuff, some uniquely styled horror and some interesting but not overly popular films from abroad - would be absolutely chuffed if just one person finds the list and finds out they like something on it that they didn't know.

Reckon they're all relatively approachable films too, no big barriers to watching and enjoying (quite 'easy to just stick on'). Start with Road House if you want a laugh!

I agree with that. As soon as a film goes mainstream, it's not that great anymore. That's why my list is filled with unknown gems like Bill & Ted and Dumb & Dumber.
