Criminal indeed. Everyone's been overlooking it. Probably cos he only scored one.

The Sunderland goal was very nice though. :D

Much better strike from Van Persie though.
Carroll's was sort of hooked in.
Its all opinions...and yours is wrong :P

it was dion dublin who picked that defoe goal as better than suarez against newcastle. laughable

I just came on here to ask what fucking clown didn't pick Suarez for goal of the month. That one choice right there shows you why that idiot shouldn't be doing punditry. Twat. Only RVP's volley's comes in the same bracket of quality as the newcastle goal - and still, red-tinted glasses aside, I think Suarez is the better goal but RVP's is fantastic and easily the best of the ones shown.

Interestingly, Wrigthty was on Sunday Goals (or whatever it's called) waxing lyrical about Suarez over the season (appeared to be his player of the season) - and raved about that goal, the technical difficulty, calling it unbelievable.

MOTD outdo themselves again.

Team of the season wise, two obvious ones for me. Cech clearly the best keeper, altho DeGea's had a good season. But the real turd in the punchbowl Cazorla over Mata! Are they fucking mad.

Technically no but specifically yes  ;D

By that I mean, they had four midfield positions up for grabs - so it's just not Carzorla who got the shout over mata, but Lineker said something along the lines of 'Carzorla over Mata?' and they said he just pipped him, something along those lines.

"Don't want to really give anything away" - so that means a deal has been done then with a team.

Came across that way to me as well and got the feeling it was he'd be at west ham next season

Very likely that de Bruyne is going to end up at either Dortmund or Leverkusen (if I am not mistaken then Leverkusen would want him included in the Schürrle-deal and de Bruyne was not opposed to it until the Götze-transfer was announced and now Dortmund are keen) - not sure if Chelsea are going to loan him out one more season or if he'll transfer for good.

They had Mata in mate, the 4 man midfield was Mata carrick Cazorla Bale.

They we're arguing about Cazorla piping Hazard.

I don't think there's too much in that to be honest. I haven't seen much, and though I have been impressed with Hazard, he hasn't been amazingly consistent (neither has Cazorla). Maybe someone else should get in over both of them.

It's a weird one, because he made his team of the week on numerous occasions (not that I looked  ;)). Definitely political.

exactly...as soon as you accept that Crooks isn't a real footy pundit - but a ridiculous, camp, roly-poly, jibberish spouting, figure of fun, he actually becomes quite entertaining...

Ah fuck, thanks for putting me straight guys and agree with the above, both have been quality at times but really inconsistent, there are better options out there for a season long performance. Gerrard's one obvious one.

Indeed.

But surely, even such a person as that would realise that if you've put a player in your team of the week more often more not then surely said player has to be in your team of the season  :wanker

He's genuinely the worst pundit around, at least people like Merson have some semblance of sense and sanity. Crooks' teams of the week are hilarious every time, he insists on doing it like an actual team then sticks Mata as DM etc to make it fit
