New blood in midfield- but who?
« on: April 28, 2002, 08:48:22 am »
The message that is coming through loud and clear on here is that the midfield is lacking in creativity and Smicer, Berger, Barmby etc are not our long term future. Only Hamman, Gerrard and Riise are safe I feel.

Who do we replace these players with?

???

I think Duff, always looked good when ive seen him got a good right foot, so could play on the right, cutting in on his left or putting crosses in.

Alot of young English names there but continental players (except our own Academy players) would come alot cheaper.

Just watched the blue shite lose to Blackburn  ;D and Duff again is crying out to be playing on our wing. The lad is awesome. I see him being a future Giggs (but ours...)

Maybe him and a young lad such as Partridge or unknown plucked by Ged
Babel's clincher was the absolute jizz on the tits.

I like Joe Cole I know he is not the finished article, but imagine how good he could be with the right backing from Liverpools backroom staff.

He's already a better player than Giggs - have you ever seen Giggs try to cross a ball?? Or take a corner??

Duff has no limits as to how good he can become.

Giggs is nothing more than a poster seller - f*@king haircut!!
