Love the story when he had a stinker on his debut and came back in the dressing room when Bob approached and said "they shot the wrong fucking Kennedy"  ;D

Haha, that's quality!

I know Alan very well through me playing the Northwest circuit.
My band played at an after dinner speech forum that he was on, and a mate of mine introduced me to him. Chatted to him for ages and found him to be charming and very friendly.
About 18 months later I played in a golf society bash and played in a four ball with him in the day time.

One of the most down to Earth fellas you'll ever meet.

He was in The Willows towards the arse end of last year, Terry. Thought he was spot on. Him and Gary Edwards had managed to wing getting the European Cup there (although I'm still not sure of the authenticity of that story). Luckily for him he left before it went off. All outsiders causing the trouble, mind.

I remember the Terry O'Shea wild nights in the Overchurch mate. Kinell.

And then those pesky kids came along and calmed me down.

EDIT Only just noticed I am replying to a 9 year old post :)
