Having been at Frightfest 2005 over the weekend I can offer these two piles of celluloid puss to the bad movie bonfire: Evil Aliens and Dead Meat.

The former is a laugh-free horror comedy that only succeeds in illustrating exactly why sexually-frustrated nerdlingers shouldn't be allowed to commit their lurid fantasies to camera, and the latter is just, frankly, shit.

ooh forgot about that. found out one of my fave actors was in it so I got it on DVD (in a sale thankfully). Sorry I bothered, it is dreadful.

But Independence Day was absolute crotch-rot. The worst part was the fact that the First Lady and Will Smith's woman end up being together at the same place, while their husbands (the Pres and Will Smith) happen to be together at the same place somwehere else. . CHECK PLEASE!!

Rat Race was easily the most awful comedy i have ever seen, despite its numerous stars. I honestly did not register one laugh in that sad bit of shite.

Actually now i think about this was on sky movies a while back and its like 2Fast and 2Furious on ridiculous motorbikes, same director i believe, only a lot, lot worse if thats possible. Its called Torque and was utter and complete bollocks from start to finish.

Mate, this is classic and defines camp.

As the first big rock 'n roll musical film, Tim Curry's entrance is spectacular in its audacity. His seduction scenes with Brad & Janet are magically funny and Susan Sarandon was at her most delicious.

The first time I saw it I wasn't really ready for a bloke to be prancing around in makeup, corset & suspenders, but each time I saw it (the more you see the funnier it gets) I became more of a fan.

Then when you attend a live show and see how it becomes an interactive event it becomes the most fun theatre you've ever experienced.

Pearl Habour - the entire thing is in fucking slow motion.

The dialogue is so bad it makes you wanna trash your tv.

The acting is wooden and so plastic and it portrays the americans as innocent little victims. Forget the thousands of allied troops who had died for the previous months and years fighting the second world war.

The only time the war "really" started was at Pearl Harbour.

Blair witch - not as scary as made out, but not shite at all, an original idea during a time of big budget waste of time films, cleverly shot and a decent story line, watch the film again and decide if what actually a Blair witch or could it of been something a bit less paranormal, watch the film on a portable DVD player in the woods at 1am and tell me if you are scared are not. Look beyond the obvious at times try and see what the film is trying to say. Yes Blair Witch 2 was piss poor, but it did have a naked red head witch

Napoleon Dynamite - I just want to shoot the person that suggested that this was shit.

Hell Boy - not great but certainly not the worst film ever.

Fight Club - what a class film, explores in inner psyce of the human mind, is cleverly shot and one of Brad Pitts best roles and for me one of his first break away roles from playing the goody goody face of the movie. Ed Norton was simply class in that film.

Mars Attacks was a giggle

it was but it was billed as a comedy so it disappointed me. i was set up for a laugh. i think they were worried the film wouldn't do well with jim carrey in 'serious and intelligent film'.
