The Sex lives of the Potato Men was unmitigated unadulterated wank! Whoever thought that was a good idea needed their head examining! :missus

Of recent films I saw, Alexander [the one with the pisshead Irish c*nt Colin Farrell with his hair dyed blonde] was 3 hours of utter torture...utterly, utterly dreadful. The remake of 'Parent Trap' done a few years ago was also unbearably twee... :P

One of the shittiest films made is on channel 4 now. Dungeons and fucking dragons.

When I heard it was coming out I mistakenly thought it was about the superb cartoon

I had a headache after watching it.
My ass cheeks clapped together louder than an excited Latino man with maracas... I had just laid the mightiest fudge dragon ever known to mankind in its very own water bath.

'The Avengers' was absolute shite, not even my lovely Sean Connery in a kilt could make me enjoy it.

2 films I love because they are so hammy ....
'Arsenal stadium mystery' (1940)...not sure if it was supposed to be a comedy.
'Three hats for lisa' (1965) awful musical tosh with Joe Brown and Una Stubbs.

The Blair Witch Project (sat in cinema muttering "climb a bloody tree" before walking out halfway through)

Even to this day it still baffles me how anyone can say the Blair witch was shit.

I cant stand the supposed 'scary films', they just aren't ever scary, they show gore - that shouldn't provoke fear. The Blair witch really got in your head if you paid attention to the little bits 'n' bobs, and it was different how it was filmed etc. I walked home from the cinema that night and I'm not a jumpy fella but every creaky gate and howl of wind made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

Especially the ending to that film with the child's hand prints etc, fucked up!

Now, if you'd said Blair Witch 2 which strayed from the original concept by a million miles...

Can't believe folk have slagged off Dogma.  Absolutely love this film.

Worst film's I've seen:

Titanic - can't believe I wasted 3 hours of my life watching that shite.
Ghostbusters - detest this film.  Didn't help that I'd seen Gremlins the day before.
Independence Day - OTT American jingoism.
The Hulk - total cack.
This might be a bit controversial, but I didn't like bother Spiderman movies.

Sideways or fat slags.

Bit harsh, i thought Sideways was a good flick.

Worst ones i can recall were Queen of the Damned, got dragged to the cinema by the missus for that and by the end of it even she agreed how shite it was.

That Jaws one with michael caine in it, were the shark has followed the family to florida to continue terrorising chief brody's family, think they released it in 3D aswell !! fuckin' ludicrous

"The Cable Guy", with Jim Carrey in. That has got to be one of the worst films ever made. EVER!!!!
No way - i have to defend this film!!!  For once Jim Carey doesn't have to rely on pulling stupid faces to get himself through 100 minutes.

This film was dark and sinister and by far the best Jim Carey movie Ive seen.  Obviously Ace Ventura the Pet Detective is much more appealing to the mainstream audience but if you fancy something different give Cable Guy a whirl.

My vote goes to 51st State - fucking garbage.

Independance Day is awful , so far fetched. Gigli with Ben Affleck And JLO was pathetic. The worst has got to be Fight Club, towards the end the plot goes west and you havnt got a clue what is going on.

i loved independance day

For me, Independence Day is teetering on the brink between two 'brackets of opinion'. If it was supposed to be a super-duper world changing blockbuster then it is indeed a pile of gish. However, if it's merely supposed to be a high budget B-Movie then it's actually a good, cheesy yarn. I think with Independence Day a lot of people feel cheated after the hype. It makes me laugh when Bill Pulman (after spending most of the film trying to seek a diplomatic solution) suddenly 'sees sense' and delivers the line 'Nook 'em - let's nook da berstids!'

Oh - Cliffhanger. A shocking film. AWFUL sets that look like something from a department store at Christmas, a crap ending 'Hey, no worries Sly - you can kill my girlfriend anytime you like you butter-fingered mumbling buffoon' and cringeworthy dialogue: Craig Fairbrass a.k.a. that bloke from London's Burning/Eastenders kicking some fella in the head while shouting 'Soccer - great sport. I was a fackin' good striker!' in an overly hammed up for the US audience cockney accent. The main reason I hate Cliffhanger though is because all the screens showing Jurassic Park were full. Mehhh!!!

I liked Fight Club when the 'twist' occurred, actually.

Has anyone here seen "Battlefield Earth"? I haven't seen it, but that's because I don't like to see poorly reviewed movies: it scored a 4% mark off RottenTomatoes website, which gathers a lot of reviews together in the one place. Four good reviews, 95 bad ones. Some of the reviews on it makes some hilarious reading. It's basically John Travolta's homage to his scientology religion, and he stars as one of the aliens: he's nine foot tall and apparently wearing this headpiece that looks like dreadlocks. Just have a look at some of the excerpts from the reviews of Battlefield Earth on this link: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/battlefield_earth/?page=2

There are a swag of bad movies out there: too many to count. I just try to avoid watching them if its possible

never seen it but i remember when Sky had the Premier of it and on the advert for it they said "you've read the reviews, now see if its as bad as they said!"

American Pie 3- loved the first two, this just wasnt funny at all IMO.

and how can anyone say that they dont like Mars Attacks! Great film that, well funny.

oh and i also thought Pearl Harbour was cack.
