Horrible knee-jerk thread here. I can understand some critisism of him but some of the comments here are frankly quite disgraceful and disrespectful.
Normally I'd agree but I'm just hungover and miserable right now. Fucking hell how did we lose that.

It's not knee-jerk people have been saying it for awhile now.

Yes blame carragher and not our offensive unit - which was shite.

Suarez had his worst game in a Liverpool shirt.

Far from it. We were better going forward as we were in plenty of games we drew or won this season. Suarez wasn't that bad either.

The two players who basically cost us the game- Carra- at fault for both goals. Adam- gave the ball away constantly, not a single decent set piece, completely unable to look up when running forward- missed a chance to put Henderson 1 v 1 with the keeper and instead lost the ball and had a fit.

Carragher is now sadly past it as a premier league centre half, i don't think he will ever admit that, last weeks ridiculous reaction to a perfectly normal question by Andy Burton shows that, i just wish for his own sake he makes the decision to quit at the end of the season, i wouldn't want the fans to turn on him after his great service, if he wants to keep playing, there are clubs out there who would take him.

Love him, but agree its over for him.

No reason not to blood the young lads now.
The one most important thing that we all must remember, in case it slipped our mind, is this club is much more important and bigger than anybody. I'll never forget that and anybody that does is being a wee bit irresponsible and stupid I think because the club is more important than any one individual. The Club is, The Club.

Sadly nowhere near the player he was 4 years ago.

The first goal was horrendous, school boy stuff.

Coates should be in there before Carra
He never shows mercy, he would put 6 past your sons school team.

if anyone at all is 'at fault', then it is either the management team for picking him or the management team for not buying a CB they trust to come in and take aggers place...
I'm not slating Carra, I'm slating those who keep acting like he's a world class defender.
Football without fans is nothing.

We've won 18 titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, but today must be the greatest victory of all.
