Backed Bayern there, Dortmund missing Subotic and Hummels just limped off. Be Sokratis alongside one of the youngsters I'd assume.

They're priced at 2.4 or 2.3 now, suspect it will be shorter.

Gonna work out at 14/1 I guess. £280 profit. I had £20 on Ronaldo and £20 on Zlatan.

I've backed Rooney anytime 9/4, first 8/1 & wincast 6/1.

He's scored in 9 of 16 under Hogdson (56%), opening 6 times (38%), with England winning 6 of those matches (38%). In the last two years outside of Germany, they've conceded at least two v Sweden (3), USA (4), Ecuador, Italy, Greece, Switzerland (5), France and Ukraine. This is far from Germany's first XI aswell. No Neuer, Lahm, Hummels, Badstuber, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Ozil nor Gomez.

Also backed over 6.5 England corners 8/5 and over 8.5 at 7/2. In the 7 games at Wembley this year, England have averaged 10.7. Germany on avergae have conceded 4.9 corners away in the last 12 competitive games. An average there would give 7.8 so would argue the prices are too big, especially with Townsend and Walker in the side.

Late rally on the England corners rescues the evening.

Greasy now 4/6 favourite for Ballon d'or.

Voting for Ballon d'or has been extended to 29th November. That can only benefit him really

I put £100 on him a week ago when someone mentioned he 3/1 to win it. I will be livid if Ribery wins it.

Chile have scored at least twice in their last 10 matches including against England, Colombia, Spain, Uruguay and Brazil back in April. Pretty impressive, 11/4 to score over 1.5 goals tonight.

However, Brazil have scored a staggering 43 goals in their last 15 matches and with only having to travel from Toronto to Boston as opposed from London, am going to back Brazil to win and both teams to score at 11/5. Looks generous considering Brazil are only 4/7 to win.

Ribery for ballon d'or

The fact that they have extended voting (according to balague) tells me that Ronaldo isn't currently 1st.

Some people might change their mind but I think many would just see their first choices as final choice

Stand to win £300 odd if Ronaldo does win so I'll have a small cover on ribery at 2/1

Last night was looking bad at one point, around £400 down.

Then there was a flurry of corners in the England game, then both teams scored in the Brazil game, then Mexico beat New Zealand.

Slashed the £400 down to £100 down for the day/night, happy with that in the end.

I put them in a treble just to get it above evens.

Uruguay -2 @ 1.7 with Betway is interesting me tonight.

I'm undecided on Uruguay at the minute, 1.7 seems a very good price though. I seen them at 2/5 and was still tempted

Anyone been keeping an eye on the Palace next mgr market? Haven't touched it but always take a look. Its absurd, every few days there's a new short priced favourite. Coleman, Karanka, Petrescu now Pulis all under 1.40 in the last week alone. Something stinks, hammer a bookies price right down then lay on an exchange a, rinse and repeat.

Feel sick.

Won 160 off an accumulator last night, rolled it all on Mexico over 2.5 which returned 260. I then told myself I'd do one last bet and take the cash. Uruguay over 2.5 and japan cup match over 2.5. The two teams involved have over 70 percent in there games for overs this season. 2-0 going into stoppage time, penalty.... Missed. A nice reminder of how shit betting can be. Gonna step out of the game and go back to enjoying football without money being involved.

Backing Bayern on the weekend at 5/4.

Dortmunds whole first choice defence is out! Piszczek has been out for 6 months, played half hour in a friendly the other day so wont be ready, Subotic is done for the season, Hummels out for the rest of 2013, Schmelzer out for a few weeks. Gundogan is their best player in my opinion and he's out aswell. (Thanks to Luis in the Bundesliga thread for the info)

Wont go that big, games after internationals can be dodgy, Schweinsteiger is out aswell and Dortmund can score goals but got to have a go on that.

Done Napoli to score 2+ v them in the CL to at 5/2.
