We’re missing a bloody whole first team…

Alisson
Trent
Matip
Sobz
Thiago
Salah
Nunez
Jota

We look so tired out there…

Big 45 for Jurgen and the boys… Just hope we can get atleast 1 goal and then push for the second…

The first choice 11 in most people's minds would be;

Allison - injured
Trent - injured
VVD
Konate - rested
Robertson - just back from injury
Dom - injured
Jones - injured
Mac
Salah - injured
Nunez - injured
Jota - injured

Not to make excuses but that a lot.
absolutely it's essentially a second choice side we have out tonight
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

3 out of 4 seasons wrecked now. Medical team needs a complete overhaul.

Point the front office to the doctor that stops other players from taking our player's knees out and I am sure they will bring them in. What a talent that would be.

Diaz I'll give you, what the fuck is Gakpo meant to be then?

Honestly not sure mate. He's an attacking midfielder for me, with little defensive responsibility. He might fit one of the front 2 behind the striker positions in Xabi's team next season ;)

It is not. Losing to a relegation battler at home in a title race is a terrible terrible result. You saw us lose two titles by a point, right?

Do you think the other two won't drop any more points?... Honestly, give your head a wobble.

Just really poor all round.

Some of these players starting tonight aren't as good as a lot of people think they are; certainly in the roles they are playing anyway. They're perfectly fine facilitators but struggling to believe any of them would step up over a sustained period.

For me Klopp should be reacting to the injuries by changing something too. Think matching them up with Bradley and Robbo/Tsimi as wing backs tonight and using three CBs to make us more solid and unlikely to concede first would have been better than shoehorning in Elliott off the right.

Robbo on at HT could still have a big impact anyway and no reason we can't turn it around. But man these injuries are so annoying and concerning.

They've hard their safety net taken away.  Easy to perform when you are surrounded by world class quality, but much harder when you are the one making up for that quality.

A lot to ask of these young players.  Fans need to temper their expectations given the injuries.

Or a win. That’s also the best case scenario.

Might be controversial but I’d think a win is actually a better case scenario than a draw

I'm no master tactician, but would it not be a good idea for Gakpo to get a bit closer to the thing with posts and a net?
Never seen him playing I think. But looks like a good player.
