Dont think we can blame the team, look at the injuries. People brushed it off but we have 10 possible first teamers out.

Na the players on the pitch should be capable of beating Luton. Gakpo has been completely anonymous. Diaz can't do anything right. Harvey has been piss poor. And the midfield - fuck me they've been atrocious.

Maybe get Gordon in. Elliott doesn't look comfortable in that position.

The 3 players in our squad that could be the '9' are al out. What do we expect? Diaz and Gakpo are not strikers.

Diaz I'll give you, what the fuck is Gakpo meant to be then?
I don't agree, he'd go to Legoland. Bye.

Frustrating to watch. Diaz had at least 3 good opportunities wasted, Elliot tries hard but it just doesn't work. We really need Nunez to see this through.

Nunez isnt in the squad.

Need Robbo or Tsimikas on. Move Gomez to RB and Bradley to RW. We desperately need some pace and directness up front.

We could play for 6 hours and not score. Just can't see any kind of positive outcome here.

Another season ruined by injuries.

Can we please stop using Kelleher as some sort of quarterback?! VvD to Quansah to VvD to Gomez to VvD to Kelleher, who launches it to no one.   :butt

He’s a good goalkeeper, but he’s not Xabi Alonso.
Absolutely, its always pissed me off as only 30% ends up with one of our players.

Diaz been terrible.

Their goal was lucky too.

Every move deserves luck. Gravenberch was lazy as feck to chase Cheech. Kelleher was shit as feck letting a shot to the near post almost get through his legs. HE was lucky it didn't creep in. The goal was then inevitable.

Needs Robbo on, maybe taking Elliot off and moving Gomez to right back, Bradley at right wing.

Gomez previously looked fine inverting, all at sea tonight.

Gomez at left back was mad.

We need width.

We have zero pace in the team, hence easy for Luton defenders to get back and recover.
I’d stick Kostas up top

They won't be able to keep it up for 90+ minutes though as they are unchanged from Sunday.

He’s a good goalkeeper, but he’s not Xabi Alonso.

Part of this is Luton pressing our players and our midfield not finding space. The long ball to Diaz is bread and butter for Luton.

But he's actually been excellent and been our best player, Gakpo on the other hand needs to do more.

Gakpo has been far better, the problem is he’s playing a false 9 role when we don’t need it, if Núńez Salah or Jota were on the pitch and he’s playing the same way it would have been a good performance. He’s a hurdling the ball, winning it back, played some good layoffs including one that created a chance for Elliott.

I think Luton will start to get tired early in the second half. We still need someone to actually put it in. There's loads of chances created but need the finish here. There needs to be width on the right, their right side is on yellow, so a bit of pressure on that side will yield results.

Truly awful but the silver lining is Luton are giving us bags of space. They should tire but we need to equalise quickly.

Robbo on after an hour. Need some experience there.

Baffled by Diaz. Not just the awful finishing but an inability to beat his man one on one just once. Feels like he and the other forwards are playing scared.

Just feels a bit too frantic. Plenty of time to turn it around, but we won’t if panic sets in. Need the crowd second half. And by that I mean a bit of belief. Feels like a bit of defeatism with the injuries, shite as they are. Have we learnt nothing from Jürgen’s time here? Come on red men, you can do these.

Conor Bradley has been wunderkind in our recent games but isn't getting into the game enough.

Given Elliott is offering nothing on the right I'd seriously switch Gomez to RB, bring on Robo and push Bradley further forward.  He has a good touch and good speed to get in behind Luton, something no one else in the team has.

8 of our regular 11 are out. Don't think you can expect to win any game easily with that.

Exactly think been some arrogance amongst some people thinking we “should” beat them.

Yes we should in a normal day but this is a patched up side and it shows.

Luton might be 3rd bottom but whenever I’ve seen them they don’t play like they are a relegation team even though they are favourites to go down they always fight until the end.

The first choice 11 in most people's minds would be;

Allison - injured
Trent - injured
VVD
Konate - rested
Robertson - just back from injury
Dom - injured
Jones - injured
Mac
Salah - injured
Nunez - injured
Jota - injured

Not to make excuses but that a lot.

Need to somehow salvage a draw….every point is crucial.
Just can’t see us scoring…..if there was a game not to go behind in, this was it….as we don’t have strikers to turn it around.
The Luton defenders can recover as we have no pace up top.

Would be tempted by Robbo for Gravenberch and going with wingbacks, Elliot behind Gakpo and Diaz.
