Agreed but TAA vs Martinelli is a terrible matchup so we need Robertson at LB and Gomez at RB. Then TAA can take Grav’s position rather than Thiago.

Not true: TAA-Martinelli matchup is not working, and we need more aggression/quality/confidencd in midfield. We also need Nunez’s oace to stretch them. There are tactical issues that personnel changes can resolve.

I’m not sure what the ‘tactical’ reasons were for leaving Nunez out, but it’s basically allowed Arsenal to push up and condense the space in front of them so we can’t play through, with no threat of anyone running in behind.

We need to make it more difficult for them to play somehow, they're finding it way to easy to get at our backline

For all Arsenal possession they didn't create that much clear cut chances to be honest. This isn't prime Barcelona or Bayern Munich here. They have played as well as they possibly can and we have played as poorly as we possibly can and yet they still aren't ahead.

Exactly - Grav has hardly been involved apart from the excellent lob for Diaz to score from. Trent is suffering against Martinelli too - so better Gomez there and move Trent in the middle.

Such a poor performance, especially after their goal. The great news is we got a bit of luck and got ourselves back into it. If we improve like we did in the Cup match, we can still win this. Nunez to come on after 60mins and create some chaos. Did to track players better though.

I completely agree, and I reckon Klopp will be thinking exactly the same and will balance the midfield out to counter the initial onslaught.

Spot on. And all that matters is the score. We can improve a lot and have a tendency to finish strong. Chance to change things too as looks like we set up wrong, we're usually good at addressing that

They've created far more good situations than us. We've paid them too much respect and lacked energy from the first whistle.
Huge stroke of luck for our goal but hopefully build on that.
