When I read shite like this I could vomit right into the pages of the Guardian. This prick Jonathan Liew doesn't know Kloppo and never will but likes to make little quips and snippets to make you think he does. earning a living off the back of other people, never having the balls or the nuance to do something themselves that would make a difference.

"Jürgen Klopp’s relationship with Christianity was always a little different. A little looser. “Being a Protestant,” he once said, “leaves a few doors open. It’s obviously not that dogmatic.”

When he misbehaved as a child, his mother would ask him what God would think and Jürgen would reply that God was probably too busy. The only real imposition his faith made on his football was in restricting his ability to play on Sunday mornings, the start of what would become a lifelong distaste for early kick-off times.

What a dickwad. Fuck you, you have no idea.

He's a fucking gobshite. I wouldn't know where to start with this utter nonsense.

"Klopp was never the Shankly-esque socialist as his most ardent fans liked to claim. You only had to examine his vast array of commercial endorsements to grasp that. Nor did he ever seek to position himself as a beacon of virtue. Indeed some of his most unattractive moments came when he lapsed into self-pity, railed vituperatively at slights real or imagined, complained bitterly about 12.30pm kick-offs in a world where people were struggling to heat their houses. But somehow, whether by design or by projection, he did come to represent a kind of resistance: putting the human being back in the machine, the idea that superior wealth and autocratic power could be overcome through the ingenuity of collective spirit."

Don't like it. Lots of games to win first.
Up to you. Can't be positive or hopeful before season starts either apparently.

I personally think he’s made up with his decision. He has to go at some point and I think it would kill him if he had to go after a shit season. He’s still yearning for that break he was supposed to have before us and he can get it now all his cups have been won. The man doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone any more, he’s financially set for life, adored the world over and can just kick back and enjoy being a grandad in some beautiful German forest. I actually value his happiness over ours now, he deserves everything he wants and a long happy life.

Very well said, agree with every word.

He’s an absolute wanker, as are most columnists. Pumping out piles of tripe

The bit about Klopp complaining about 12.30 kick offs in a world where people struggle to hear their comes across as particularly dense, considering there is absolutely 0 connection between the two

A decent summary of some of differences between the two that we all know but many still don’t

At last, one journalist gets it.

Now its time for the thickos on BBC Sport, Sky Sports and TalkSHITE to get the memo.

He also called Postecoglu a “pathetic Australian PE teacher” the other week in a bit of a bizarre rant against him. He’s no better than the likes of Joey Barton, spewing absolute shite to generate clicks.

Pretty sure I saw the gif of The Wolf Of Wall Street's "I'm staying" scene, with Jurgens head on. Or am I just imagining it? Cant find it on here, or online.

In a convo with a couple of mates talking about Jurgens reactions yesterday and would love to post it if anyone has it.
All the badge kissing in the world don't make up for the fact that they are, frankly, not Liverpool Football Club. It's not their fault. Its just how it is.

Can't stand Liew... .he's seen as bright because by football journalism standards he's a rocket scientist - but he's try hard as fuck both in his writing style and opinons (the Russell Brand of football journos) ... not sure he knows a single thing about the sport to be honest
