Agreed on both counts. Superb return, and Albert is as good a replacement as anyone for his brother (although no one could ever fully replace him).

Also very much enjoyed that. Disappointed to see Jon Hamm "out of character" Larry-wise, though they probably couldn't extend that plot line too much longer. He was so funny in the previous season though.

Loved it as usual. I was glad when Susie turned up. Watched the glass bit about 5 times.

As Im beginning to look like him I'd love to know what Larry employs to get to go out with so many beautiful ladies

Just started to watch Season 8 now. I never carried on after Season 7 finished years back, for whatever reason. It really is up there as a comedy show, it's fantastic.

Im sure I read a few months back that he turned up during one episode and they all gave him a standing ovation as he wasnt expected to be in.

Hadn't particularly enjoyed the first two eps but 3rd one was great, laughing along throughout. So many great little lines.

Yeah episode 3 was the best so far. 1 was OK, 2 was average at best.

It's still great stuff but there's a definite change. I feel like Cheryl and Danson are almost shoehorned in now and I've never really been a massive fan of Leon - the show gets a bit over the top with some of his scenes IMO.

Just finished episode 8. This is easily the worst Curb season. Shame how it's regressed. Still watchable but the decline in quality is painful. Season 10 was very strong but this one seems to be more like Season 9.

The whole point of Leon is he's so different to Larry and offers a bizarre foil. He's hilarious I think, one of my favourite characters. It allows the show to offer a different type of humour without it feeling forced or misplaced.
