Not according to the bluenose checkout woman I spoke to in Asda. She was fuming over having "red on our kit." She said she buys every Bitters' top they put out, but would boycott this one. 😂

Small-time Liverpool strike again.

Imagine needing to put an actual, physical, literal spade in the ground - and in just the space of six days time!

Pathetic, if the "fans" weren't so brainwashed they'd see right through this stadium expansion for the hollow revenue-maximising fan-accommodating enterprise it is.

Spade in the ground, bah.

At the People's Club, the spade is metaphorical.. No, even grander

Our spade in the ground is entirely spiritual. That's how we do it at Everton.

Before I get accused of being a bitter bluenose I want to clarify my comments. I want Rafa to be able to at least see out a couple of seasons, do relatively well (top 12/cup run) and then get another shot at the big time and winning trophies. I don't actually care about Everton's fortunes but feel if Rafa doesnt do well he will permanently join the 'do a job' manager round robin when he is mich better and deserves more.

And he deserves the chance to spend some more time at home, on the Wirral

By the way, I missed it, who did Everton draw in the next round?

It's an amazing structure. I suppose it was inevitable that they'd punch through it though.  :-\  Sad to see a big gap in it now.

I know the part further up, which is nowhere near as nice, was built in 1821. They knocked through it at William Jessop Way / Princes Dock for the apartments there.

At least the shite have boarded up the towers at the gates of BMD to protect them from damage as they reposition the traffic cones site traffic comes and goes.

Not sure what was going on at BMD last Saturday night as I drove past, but there were loads of police cars there and the gates were open.

If they're knocking part of the Dock Wall though and filling in the dock, they'd better be finishing the stadium. There's no Joey Anderson now to go running to if they run out of money.

They will be expected to restore the wall when the place is built. However access to the site is so tight it requires a hole in the wall to allow lorries to enter leave presuming they go in through the main entrance.
Calls into question the access and egress for 30,000 fans through the one gate.
I know they are hoping for fans to access the area via the dock system and the artists impressions show them kayaking and sailing through the docks past arcades of shops and restaurants, but…

Getting 52,000 in and out of the place in a short space of time seems a logistical nightmare. Especially with only one exit road which will be full with pedestrians.
