I would've been tempted to give Sterling a start with those midfielders to see how he does. That being said, he could get a go from the bench... Would rather we gave Suarez 30 minutes rather than the inevitable 60-70 given we have bolton on saturday rather than the sunday.

That's exactly what it means. It just couldn't be to get his fitness up against easy opposition could it. And playing on a Wednesday night must mean he will only come on as a sub on the weekend. And coming on as a sub in the second half hasn't worked at all yet in the games we've played.

God you big girls, so Suarez starts. He was rested on Saturday in the PREMIER LEAGUE, a much tougher, faster game.

Maybe Kenny is thinking about using him sparingly at the start of this season in the league then bringing him more into it as the season progresses as he's off the back of the Copa?

Well done Kenny - I prefer the 'start strong and get the goals to finish game' model rather than 'bring them on late when we are chasing the game' model.
