if there is any action against viera i hope it's a total piss take of a 'punishment' like eat ice-cream with a particularly small spoon, to give the middle finger to the wankers who think running on a pitch and being an utter c*nt is just dandy

everyone would applaud it except the utter c*nts and nobody gives a shit about them

He’ll be fine. He was in a potentially dangerous situation surrounded by lads shouting abuse at him and making physical gestures. All he has to say is that he feared being attacked so he acted in defence.  He doesn’t need to be touched for it to be assault.

Good on Vieira, that c*nt deserved a slap, the ponces at the premier league will say other wise, but in the day in day out of working class life, you're not standing for that shit are yer? unprovoked? deserved a good fucking hiding the c*nt. Reminded me of when Clough gave that fan a slap, doesn't happen if you don't have a band of c*nts completely out of order all over the shop

Surely they'll be deducted points for the pitch invasion?
Soccer - let's face it, its not really about a game of ball anymore is it?

Can’t blame Viera, especially after what happened to Billy Sharp the other night. The behaviour from Everton Manager, players and fans has been atrocious lately. Frank even saying the fans should be allowed to invade the pitch, he absolutely does ‘get them’ doesn’t he.

regarding the sky piece and pundits suggesting 'what can be done' and failing to find an answer in truth

from a league standpoint, the obvious punishment that fans would understand and fear the most is a points deduction - wherever you sit in the table, knowing an invasion would cause a points deduction would for the most part deter them imo. if you're having a pitch invasion in the first place you imagine it's to do with mainly promotion, in this case relegation. if such an act carried a points deduction with immediate effect i think that would serve as a significant deterrent.

If the league don’t come down heavy on these clubs then other fans will start invading the pitch and it could be extremely dangerous.
Points deductions is the only way to go.

Incredible  :o

Interesting to see how they'll bend backwards to not punish Everton over this because things like these bring interest and viewers for the product. *passion*

50 points! :D

Has there ever been so many places between us since we both got into the top flight? The years they finished 17th we weren’t so high.

And have they ever been this many points back? 18/19 and 19/20 possibly?

We could have given them a 49pt head start and still finished above them 😂

Just worked that back. We could have forfeited every game until Spurs away on 19th December and finished above them. Or if that gave them 3 points from the Goodison Derby, then we’d have had to have started a game earlier on 16th Dec v Newcastle to be above them now. :D

Given what's happened in the last few weeks, it would be scandalous if Everton avoided some punishment. They can't be described as one off incidents and this shithouse behaviour has happened in three separate matches with the attack on Sharp the most serious. I'd expect there will be a clamour for a punishment with real teeth and the PFA should be advocating for it

Cruel and unusual! You'll never get that past the UNCHR

Samuel (not Glen) Johnson, as reported by James (not Joey) Boswell. They must have foreseen RAWK ;D
