« on: March 31, 2009, 07:35:00 pm »
Track from their new album is available on their site

http://www.kasabian.co.uk/vlad/gb/

along with the slightly strange promo video starring Noel Fielding.

Going to see them in June - cant wait, just hope the new stuff is as good as the first two albums.  Love Fast Fuse but not yet sure on this one.

Fast Fuse and Thick As Thieves were released as a very limited edition EP a couple of years ago, I've got them on my Creative Zen but will take them off at some stage and put them up.  I'll PM you links for the others.

Not the best quality, but worth getting to hear the five tracks.

Liking Fire, particularly after hearing it on Sky at the end of tonights match.

Kasabian are class and I only wish I was at home to see them with Oasis in the summer.

Fast Fuse is a class tune, it's on Fifa 09. I really like the new tune aswell, really looking forward to hearing the new album.

Tom Meighan is a pill monster! He always looks out of his head when he's performing live. The lucky bastard.

There song underdog is absolute quality, it's the song on the Kaka/Sony Bravia advert.

I love that track off the Sony Tv advert, you know the one with Kaka on that Tv screen type thing... Not sure what it's called but it's great.

Passed up on tickets to see them this summer and I really regret it now. Saw them last August in Newcastle (week after creamfields i think) and it was a great gig. In my top 5 gigs of all time.

Finishing up with Candy Statton - youuu got the love / LSF (I think...)

The whole thing hasn't leaked yet but they are versions of about 6 or 7 tracks online.

The gig in Cork on 21st June has been cancelled, I'm really hoping the 22nd in Belfast doesnt go the same way as I'm so looking forward to it.  They were on Jools Holland last night - played Fire and Underdog, were on form.

Class band.  And I watched the Istanbul final with the whole band in a bar in Chicago.  Walked in 5 mins before kick off.  We were all stood together watching the penalty shootout.  Whole crew was cheering for Liverpool to win and going nuts with us all.

Had a few bevvies after the match too at another bar.  Sound as fuck lads you'll ever likely to meet.

Really like the album and I hate it when they get lumped in the same catagory as Kaiser Chiefs et al.

Stand out tracks so far are Underdog, Where did all the Love go?, Fast Fuse, Thick as Thieves and Fire.
