Worth watching the sire Night of Thunder's first time out 2 year olds. Yielding a very nice profit.

Without Gosden I don't think Dettori would even be a jockey anymore.

True, and Dettori has acknowledged how much JG has helped him, on and off the track.

There is another option. Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple.

14 runners today. Pinsticking exercise trying to find a winner.

That said, Hauriz at Newmarket should go close and Nayef road at Newcastle look good chances. Small investment only for me.

Ah I only really follow his first time out 2 year olds. They always know their jobs very well.

All his horses are kept  fit and race ready, his race planning is notably erratic and difficult to read, his horses try all manner of trips as well. I know someone who had a share in one with him, he was none the wiser either after a few years of paying for the privilege.

Not entirely sure Mildenberger was asked for everything by his jockey there

I'm always on the lookout for that kind of stuff, didn't notice it there though. Think he asked for a response and didn't really get a great one and just settled for second as he wasn't going to catch him.

Gosden's stable are absolutely lighting it up. Ground didn't look ideal for Waldkonig today.

Yeah, ideally Waldkonig would've won by 5 lengths and announced himself as a monster. Just never looked like getting there today.

I couldn't back him for the Derby. He still looks too unfurnished to me and as you say Epsom is a tough track if you don't handle Newmarket too well.

Nervous for Pinatubo here and I've not got a penny on him. Racing needs him to continue being as good as he was last year. My favourite horse for a long time.

A bit deflating. Think he's actually ran a good race, not sure he likes Newmarket much. We didn't actually see him race Kameko, so it's hard to say he hasn't trained on. They'd pulled well clear and he smashed the ones he smashed last season, bar Wichita. A sublime Derby trial from Military March. I'll be getting stuck in to him.

Kameko looks very good. Racing Post Trophy winner (albeit on aw). Presume they’ll go for the Derby though like Roaring Lion he may be better over 10f.
Even though third is not exactly a bad performance it definitely felt disappointing from Pinatubo, just didn’t pick up and go away like he was able to last year. Maybe as mentioned above he doesn’t like Newmarket

Even though the track is riding fast it's the quickest Guineas ever. The first 3 are way, way above average and even Military March will be brilliant over further I think. I reckon we'll look back and see this as a really strong renewal.

Not sure what's going on but the first race was only a second off breaking the track record as well. All these records being broken or nearly broken can't be a coincidence.

The brigadier Gerard at Haydock tomorrow looks a cracking race. Sangarius was very good last time but who knows if he’ll be fully wound up for this and plenty of decent horses to just watch.

Quite fancy Love in the 1000 Guineas but again just watching for now.

Today will be brilliant.

I am backing  Quadrilateral (NAP) in the 1,000 Guineas quite a large bet but it wont kill me if something else wins.  Strongly fancy her though.

And in the same colours of Mr. Abdullah at Haydock 14:40 Sir Michael Stoute runs Sangarius. I will also be backing that.

They will be terrific races whatever happens!

Quadrilateral seems easy to back, Love the one I would back if playing, but looks fairly open.

Thought Snow Shower looked interesting in the race before, but again seems easy to back

The 3 o'clock at Newmarket is interesting. Take a horse like Trefoil, on debut that slammed English King. Could be anything.
