How is an independent regulator  having the authority to apply/impose sanctions viewed as an unnecessary burden when virtually every other industry regulator possesses such powers?

The result from the City case may be the final straw. The continental teams are already signalling their intent to break away. They just need big a few big dominoes from the EPL. The potential additional income would also help these clubs compete more directly with the Saudi league.

Given the amount of investment the sports washers rulers have made in the UK I’m absolutely convinced that UK govt pressure will be on the Premier League to drop their investigation as UK govt doywant to lose friendly relations with UAE.

Been saying for a while, football only has one or two seasons left as a semi-competitive sport before it is completely finished. The despots have won. The only chance to save the game is the Abu Dhabi FC premier league case. If they are not punished severely, then they will double down on their cheating as will the Saudis and whatever other despots buy a club. That will be the signal for me, and many others to call it a day.

Missus has just seen on a local FB group, someone who works hospitality for Utd and ADFC is trying to sell standard tickets for tomorrow night, advertising them as very very cheap. Checked their website, sales are restricted to FOUR tickets per supporter   Bars and Hospitality still available too

Just checked their website and still over 1,700 tickets for sale. £30 for and adult and £10 for u18 and they still can't shift them.
