Has really good anticipation which is an underrated quality. Hamann was exceptional in that department.  This lad is more mobile and has the potential to be better.
That said he's very much a kid physically so we might not see as much of him as we'd like.

With us needing a few new midfielders in it'd be nice if Bajcetic continued proving he was up to the task of performing in a serious role in the squad.

Looking forward to the BBC midfield next season (Bajcetic Bellingham Caicedo)

Lovely performance tonight. Looked composed and read the game well. I think we can't get too carried away as he'll have some bad games. Really impressed though!!

It’s pretty clear he has quality but lacks a bit of physicality/endurance. Thing is, that extra strength and that ability to go the distance comes with more games and minutes. Klopp probably feels he has to find him more minutes now.

for sure, but that will come.

But it does mean that him starting the next game is not happening I’d suspect, shame really, cos I’d love to see the lad just get thrown in.  Once he got cramp, sort of knew that isn’t happening  ;D  But I really hope he starts getting the odd league start now at the expense of Fabinho.

He’s a talent.

Really impressive tonight, hard to believe he’s barely 18. Looks like we’ll need to manage his minutes until he’s physically stronger from a stamina point of view. But really excited about this lad

If it were a weaker team at the weekend I’d be up for throwing him in, think Chelsea may be too soon.
It looks to me as if we have signed another 'average' player. I'll hold back my complete opinion until I see the lad play

I couldn't watch the game tonight because of work but from the little I've seen of him, he plays a lot older than his age but mentally and physically.

His finish against Villa was really composed and his crunching tackle against Leicester would make an experienced pro proud.

:wellin for the performance vs Wolves!

Him with Thiago and Keita made us look like a proper unit in CM. Defensively we were reliable. Liked how he found ways to pass the ball forward resulting in attacking threat for us.

Nice. He’s very good on the half turn.

I’m going to be a bastard and criticise one thing. Weight of passes can be a little off. Needs to put a little more zip on them at times. Very impressed with him though. Hope he gets a lot of minutes this season.

Ordinarily yes, but Chelsea have been as bad as us.

Start him, hook him when he’s gassed. As others have said, Fabinho and Hendo can have no complaints if they are left out for a game or two

You can see why Klopp rates him so highly. Top performance today and a better showing than a lot of our midfielders this season.

Compare what he was doing tonight to what our midfield was doing on Saturday. Night and day.

Would just keep starting him honestly, but not sure Klopp will start him against Chelsea.

If someone had shown me that pass but with the player blurred out I’d have bet money it was Thiago as I thought he was the only one with that vision and ability to pull it off.

Lets remember... Bajcetic is Spanish though, he seems to have that Xavi/Iniesta style of play where they are constantly looking and analysing whats going on so they can choose the best option for each passage of play when they recieve the ball

Brilliant. Only 18 and looked completely natural throughout. He should be starting ahead of Fab until he sorts out his form.

Or play the error strewn Fabinho and the young Spaniard together.

His passing was erratic but he hoovered up the ball like Fabinho used to do, was mobile, good on the ball, everything you'd want but just some better choices when passing. You could tell as soon as Thiago and him went off we couldn't win or keep the ball. Granted Wolves were throwing everything at us but we also weren't helping ourselves.

That something with the step in from youth level will improve. He had a terrible out ball to the Tsmikas or Carvalho but knew it right away, happens move on and get better.

One slight caveat would be that Wolves midfield isn't particularly mobile. It will be interesting to see how Bajcetic does against a more physical and mobile midfield like a Brighton even but honestly he cannot do any worse than Hendo and Fabinho did. Hell, even in this game, our standard dropped off after he went off and Fabinho came on.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.
