He looks really good at the base of midfield. I'm still conscious that he will struggle physically against some of the better sides, so I'm not as keen to throw him in to the first team playing every week (had cramp by 70 mins). If he keeps this up, he could be a serious option for us next season.
Yeah I imagine he'd possibly be bullied in some games, but that's true of our other CMs and at least Bajcetic can make up for that with energy and running.
Important to somewhat manage his game time as he's a young lad, but he should be given a run in the team. There's absolutely nothing to be gained by flogging Henderson and Fabinho, especially given on the basis of their current levels, he is significantly more effective than either. Football should be a meritocracy, no? Fab and Hendo have barely turned in a competent performance between them all season, and Bajcetic has looked superb more often than not when he's played.
Let's give him a go and see if he's up to it, and give him the development time which we normally wouldn't be able to afford. Not least because it would be deserved and actually puts us in a better position to win football games.
