Wish he didn’t have so many accents in his name…

Been really good so far… practice, passed well, and he’s actually quite big

Ok so he looks very special indeed. He has to keep his place on the weekend. You could argue against it if others were performing but they aren't so in.

Looked absolutely fabulous, he cannot be expected to be our solution - but he's one hell of a prospect and has done himself no harm in showing some of the first teamers, that energy....intensity and desire makes up such a large amount of what is required.

MOTM, really impressive. Bit hard to rate a DM when the opponents played as poorly as Wolves did for most of the game, but he did everything right.
Very similar to Fabinho in his style. Calm, quick thinking.
Amazing understanding of the game for his age

It's too much pressure to expect him to come in and immediately solve all our midfield problems but surely he's done enough tonight to earn himself some opportunities in the league?

I can see why we want to give him a brand new contract now even though he signed one last year. He's the future part of this setup.

Deserves another new contract.

He's outrageously good. Calm, composed and his vision is special

Always looking around scanning the pitch and you can tell he's a step ahead constantly. I watch him play and think 'the first 5 yards are in your head', he always always seems to know what he wants to do before the ball comes to him... a little Thiago like in that sense

Looks like the Brain of the 30 year old in the body of a 18 year old. Still needs to get up to Pro level match fitness but that will come. Cramping in the 70th minute.
It should be him or Fabinho for 6.

He looks really good at the base of midfield. I'm still conscious that he will struggle physically against some of the better sides, so I'm not as keen to throw him in to the first team playing every week (had cramp by 70 mins). If he keeps this up, he could be a serious option for us next season.

The best no.6 in our squad on that showing. He can actually run a bit and has no shortage of ability.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

It’s pretty clear he has quality but lacks a bit of physicality/endurance. Thing is, that extra strength and that ability to go the distance comes with more games and minutes. Klopp probably feels he has to find him more minutes now.

Yeah I imagine he'd possibly be bullied in some games, but that's true of our other CMs and at least Bajcetic can make up for that with energy and running.

Important to somewhat manage his game time as he's a young lad, but he should be given a run in the team. There's absolutely nothing to be gained by flogging Henderson and Fabinho, especially given on the basis of their current levels, he is significantly more effective than either. Football should be a meritocracy, no? Fab and Hendo have barely turned in a competent performance between them all season, and Bajcetic has looked superb more often than not when he's played.

Let's give him a go and see if he's up to it, and give him the development time which we normally wouldn't be able to afford. Not least because it would be deserved and actually puts us in a better position to win football games.
