I was in La'go the other week, 2 double vodka and cokes for a fiver, boss!

Tasted that bit better 'cos we'd been to the Peacock just before and paid £8 for 2 pints of Peroni and the girl behind the bar took a quid when my fella said "take your own"- £9 for a pair of pints! In Liverpool!!  Nice space like (wouldn't go back for financial reasons myself!)  , but what's with so many CCTV cameras in there? Have they had trouble in the past or something? I counted about 6 clusters of cameras while we were in there.

Your probably more likely to see Ian Ayre out on the ale on a Saturday night than the Liverpool players.

I have seen several of them when I have been in San Carlo restaurant in Castle Street, just a pain putting up with the wannabes (and occasionally actual) gangsters who get in there. Foods not too shabby though.

Looking to organise an engagement party in Liverpool, anyone got any recommendations?

We were on to Camp & furnace and they weren't much help. Going to a new place called Empire that someone in work recommended and I tried to contact the Blackie.

I reckon we'll have about 30 people there?

Went on a lads night out in Liverpool last night, was about 10 of us. As ever a great laugh, a great atmosphere everywhere and no bad vibes. Well apart from one absolute dickhead who decided to kick a buskers pot of money everywhere and leg it before anyone could deal with him.

Flares was great as usual too!

Only place i've ever done it is on Renshaw St, theres a Chinese place where you get your own room. It's decent but only if there's a good group of you and you might have to book anyway, i'm not sure.
