If it was a toss up between winning this and a 'Champions' League place then I'd take this every time. You win fuck all for being fourth or third or whatever.
Well...you do get a trophy AND a CL place for winning this so easy choice
This on telly anywhere?
Craig Burnley V West Ham - WEST HAM WIN - INCORRECT
Well you know what I mean.A placing no matter what the 'rewards' always comes a distant second to a pot in the trophy cabinet.
Kelleher; Gomez, Quansah, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Endo, Mac Allister, Clark; Elliott, Diaz, Gakpo.
Confirmed team? Stronger than I’d of gone. What’s the bench?
Kelleher; Gomez, Konate, Quansah, Robertson; Endo, Mac Allister, Elliott; Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo.Pretty strong, no injuries please.
Crikey, that team is pretty strong.
If that’s the teamCan see konate at halftime for vvdNunez and mo for Diaz and Mac Dom for endo
Bit weird Tsimikas doesn't start
Assume Konate and VVD 45 each … maybe same for Nunez / Salah ? Surprised Robertson is starting given the weekend and that McConnell isn’t for one of mac or endo Few of these have played a lot of football (Diaz, Elliot, mac, gomez) - it’s annoying City will have such a freshness advantage at the weekend and it’s surprising we didn’t gamble a bit more with this
A bit surprised we didn't use the squad more. We've got at least 6 (potentially outfield players starting today who will also start against City on Sunday. Can't really moan if City outrun us in the 2nd half.
A little suprised to see Musialowski make the bench to be honest but good to see. Hope he can impress should he get minutes
I agree, but also you need some consistency and match fitness.
