Newcastle United... imo should go down, based on their quality of football. That was another woeful display last night, and largely out played by Portsmouth. The bottom line is that they are full of has-beens and below average players. They threw out the talent...with the likes of Emre. The only players I really have time for is maybe Duff or Smith... Look at the one dimension Nicky Butt... absolutely rubbish player who should be now playing football for Hartlepool. All I have seen him do this season in the heart of midfileld is make slow short passes, or a long floating ball to the front men, with no pace or penetration...they are always cut out. He makes no tackles, no fight...and yet he is favoured above others with lots of potential.
Blame the Management, and a succession of Managers who either didnt have a clue or who were not given enough time to bring in their own players. Newcasle are NOT above themselves just because they have a large Stadium and have a large fan base... they are down there and will go down based on shit football campared with the other teams round them.
They seriously are bad, they deserve to get relegated. Along with Middlesboro and West Brom. The rest hae done enough to stay up imo.

Newcastle were dismal last night , they put in the effort but their passing was very very bad , lucky to get 1 point IMO.
Wondering compared to us , over the last 5 years how much money have Newcastle spent on players and managers.

If Hull can pick up just 4 points from their games, they will stay up. Stoke home is a critical win for them, and if they can manage a point at either Bolton or Villa, its job done. Boro and Newcastle will not pick up more than 3 points imo. So for Boro and NU to go down, for me, Hulls home game with Stoke is a must win.

From the remaining fixtures above, it sure is going to be an interesting fight for survival.  Apart from WBA who are definitely going down, anyone from Stoke downwards could be relegated.

Absolutely nothing... Just used Hartlepool from the top of my head... I could have used any team from the 1st or 2nd division. I just dont see him as a Premiership player... Would do ok at minnow Clubs.

Can't see Sunderland getting another point to be honest

Hadn't realised how bad there run in is. Like Terry said though, possible beat Everton. That could be just enough to keep them up.

Fucking scandulous decision on Saturday - been away for weekend and just caught up with it.
No, jazz. You fear jazz. You fear the lack of rules, the lack of boundaries. Oh look, it's a fence. But, no, it's soft.

I was in Poland for the weekend and checked the Net and saw the updates.

The decision is a joke and changed the momentum in their favour.

Hopefully karma will play some part along the line this season.
