No he's not the only player.  Another one that springs to mind is Jackie Sheldon who signed in 1913 and then became pasrt of the betting scandal that rocked the game on that famous Good Friday 1915 when we kept them from being relegated after agreeing to be beaten 2-0

No he's not the only player.  Another one that springs to mind is Jackie Sheldon who signed in 1913 and then became pasrt of the betting scandal that rocked the game on that famous Good Friday 1915 when we kept them from being relegated after agreeing to be beaten 2-0
