Helsinki is another option if you can get a cheap flight out. Trains from there to Moscow are 15 hrs and you get a bed:

You can also do it on Transaero Airlines (whoever they are)for £148 + tax return, departing 22-15 from Heathrow on the Saturday night, so you can still go to Leeds earlier in the day.
