Litmanen was one of my favourite players as a kid even though he was only here for a short period. His goal against Spurs was quality! I genuinely don't think I've ever been this excited by an acquisition of either a player or a manager. We don't normally sign world class talent and  that's exactly what Klopp is.

It reminds me of the Shankly / Paisley era in a way. Shankly (Klopp) is the master motivator and media darling and Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz will be the tactical geniuses alongside him (Paisley).

Can't remember when I was so excited with a signing - maybe Litmanen, maybe Barnes or Beardsley. Either way this is a GREAT day in our history.
