It’s going to be a grim night on the main forum, but this is the poorest we’ve been for a very long time. It’s going to take some coming back from not just in terms of the tie but the season.

One of the most bizarre performances I've seen in decades of watching us, a European quarter final and we've not even tried. Absolutely bizarre.

There were worse performances last season but given the context, european quarter final and the strength of our team, at home etc it's gotta be the worst game of Jurgen's time here. Disgustingly bad.

Worst performance of the season by some distance, 3-0 is the least Atalanta deserved really. There was none of usual belief, either on the pitch or in the stands, that we could turn it round tonight.

Our confidence looks shot to bits, the season is collapsing right before our eyes.

The United games look to have broken us.
