Shows exactly what Genny has become. A ‘legitimate’ businessman who’s roots will never leave him.

The negotiations with the grieving land owner and marching the clowns into his kids classroom were superb. As for the closing scene... wow give the man a hand.

Yeah that was excellent. This season doesn't have enough Genny imo.

Just finished season 4 and I know this wont be a popular view but i thought it was all a huge mess plot wise and is the worst of 4 seasons for me.

The Episodes with Genny in were good but the other major players not so much.

The ending was quite good and sets up more Naples aggro for season 5. Hopefully we see more of the ginger haired Levante brother who looks to be a real bad bastard and could be a great character.

Patrizia just seemed to stare into space almost every scene she was in. And as for her curly haired porn star looking husband... was a waste of a character. I just couldn't understand any of the characters motivations and reasons for doing stuff half the time. It honestly felt the writers were making it up as they went along.

This said, It still looked and sounded brilliant as always but they need to invest much more time on the script/plot next time I reckon.

I've a mate who thinks the same. He thinks he'll somehow reappear. I fucking hope not. There is no way you walk away from that shit. If that happens, it'll properly jump the shark to such a ridiculous extent, it'll break the show.

All the talk on subreddit seems like he's alive indeed.

As much as I love Ciro, and I think he's one of the best tv-characters ever, I really hope they don't bring him back to life in the new season.

I just now got around to the fourth one. I don't even know what to say about this show. It's without question in the conversation for the greatest TV show ever. I've been pretty dogged in my support of Deadwood for that title, but this is right there with it. It is just spectacular. It's just so fucking sinister. It takes absolutely everything the gangster genre is supposed to contain and does it to perfection. And we can never say enough about that song that closes every episode. I don't know, lads, it just gobsmacks me every time.

Netflix stateside has now dropped Gomorrah, so we've gone from only having access to series 1-2 to having nothing.

Niente...

I take my internet from Comcast/XFinity, and the rumor is that they will be making the full series available.

Would be nice to catch up events in Scampia...

Watched is recently, great show. Didn't even know it was out it was a great surprise, especially as Gomorrah is m favourite TV series probably ever, along with Love/Hate

Loved L’immortale. Was a slow burn that took me ages to get into but the last half hour or so was brilliant

it could have been a jumped the shark thing having Ciro be alive but it wasn’t - glad they did it like this with revealing it in the film and not the last series. And yeah, I got goosebumps when Genny pulled up at the end

The only thing missing was the usual closing song (which they had used earlier in the film) - I would have lost it if that was playing at the end.
