Anyone know how many we had there last night 800?

Someone behind me said a steward told him the club sold 600 tickets.
But I'm sure all the tickets was more or less sold out?

But I'd estimate no more than 500.

Kudos to the police, they did everything they say they should.
I hope everybody's safe after potential confrontations with both mancs and Russians last night.

Great trip with Harinder and Estonian Red off here. Police ensured no problems, so cant say a bad word about them.

Saw the u19s game at the academy first which was decent though we lost.

One idiot started to do monkey gestures to fella next to me and the Russian Mancs who were looking for a reaction was the only negatives. Back home and back at work after couple hours sleep - can't wait for Maribor.

Was superb this one. Moscow really is a beautiful city. Had a problem in Red Square when we rolled our banner out and police car came driving straight to us and forced to delete all pictures taken there with banner. Other than that there were no problems.

Police were really on point and it couldn't be more safer. Hope those dickhead racist Spartak fans will get sorted out, who AP mentioned. Managed to get a photo of one of them, but the guy at the end of our row managed to get better pictures so I hope they will get reported.

Was nice meet Harinder for the first time and always good to catch up with AP and Trev off here as well.

Roll on Maribor  ;)

I saw the police stop somebody yesterday afternoon, was that you.

Was feeling quite proud of myself having made it out of Moscow in 1 piece until I missed my connection in Zurich. Won't be home until tomorrow morning now. £200 & 10 hours later.

Mate that was there reckons 300 max. UK based reds. The rest were Russian reds.
Would agree with estimate of around 300 UK based reds.  Most were other nationalities.  Lots of empty seats towards top of the section. We chatted to 2 Swedish lads near us who said it was their first LFC euro away and they’d bought their tickets on stubhub at very high cost.

I don't think that you will get a reply but would keep the automated email just in case there are any problems. I would imagine that it should appear on your purchase history next Monday or so. I sent in mine on Sunday once I had all my boarding passes. Can't see there being any problems.

Would you not need to send the stamped copies of the boarding passes/visa?

Yes, I would think you need to send the visa with the stamps both ways. Otherwise you could just buy a visa and not go.

I sent mine this morning.

I noticed a good few getting turned away at the windows.  Certainly didn't see anyone selling outside the ground.

But I'd estimate no more than 500.

The police over here told one of the lads before we travelled that 725 UK based fans had booked to go. I think about half of that travelled from what I seen in the ground.

Out of curiosity - what was the deal with spares over there? Many floating about?

I seen loads trying to sell tickets outside the metro station.
Now you think Ronald McDonald gonna go down to the basement and say, "Hey Mr. Nugget - you the bomb. We sellin' chicken faster than you can tear the bone out. So I'm gonna write my clowney ass name on this fat-ass cheque for you."

What an amazing city. Enjoyed that. Felt VERY safe at all times. Police and metal detectors everywhere you go. City itself - very safe.

The police escort was brilliantly done. Not sure if they do that all the time or putting on a good show for us to avoid any trouble before the World Cup but either way well done and thanks. Didn't see any issues apart from 1 idiot near us in their end had a United shirt on and one or two in our end got wound up by it. Most recognised this wasn't the time nor the place to get wound up by it. Having the police on the Metro on the way back was extremely reassuring and well done - so often at all games people think the responsibility ends after the 90minutes.

They also put mini buses on which sounded decent but I never found them - neither did a lot. Those that did said it was good. I couldn't work out where they were and didn't exactly fancy asking the police in front of everyone 'eh mate - where do us Liverpool fans go'. The club didn't publicise this well enough other than Tony Barrett tweeting something a few hours before kick off. Why not text us - they've got our numbers?

I'd confidently say the club haven't go to refund 800 Visa applications for sure and 800 will not be getting the credit. I'd be guessing but say 300 UK based and 500 Russian.

Loved Moscow. Nice to see something other than the standard European samey samey places.

Other than the obvious places Zaryadye Park was really decent if anyone did that it's only just opened as well. Was told to go there and watch the sunset over Red Square. Recommend that if anyone goes there on holiday ever with a drink or two.

Hope the woman who took ill on the flight from Moscow to Frankfurt yesterday is alright - think quite a few reds were on that flight.

Also, the best beer and choice I can remember on a euro away. Paying as little as 100 rubles (£1.30) for a half litre in some places.
Every bar we went in had loads of craft beer, really nice Russian porters and pale ales. It was heaven compared to some of the shit I had to drink in leicester centre last week.

Thanks mate yeah I'll just get the exact same thing reprinted cos I did like it and it was something I was wanting to do for ages. Agree RE home made but I never would've been able to do the cups properly so printed the only way haha - plus if I'd spent hours painting that then I would've been devastated when it got nicked!

Brilliant trip,if a bit stressfull, interviewed by great girl from Russian tv in red sq,only trouble wanted photo of us with flag, next thing about a dozen police over asking what the flag said...
All sorted after about 10 mins..took the metro to & from the game no trouble unlike Zenit, never seen so many police & army in an escort there & back..
Saw about 10 of us together arrive on train next thing were surrounded by loads of police & escorted out of station, few of us got the mini bus others walked round the ground..
All proof of travel confirmed so onward to Maribor via the Dam & Graz 8)

went and dropped in the proof of travel yesterday (even though it was emailed in moscow ) there was an issue with the receipt as i used an agency , they said  it would take 3 working days to sort , just posting this as i presume this will effect the announcement for the maribor tickets
