Terrific player, hates to lose.

Yet he was the one who was more responsible than any other Portugal player for them losing last night. Never tracked back when he lost the ball, played for himself etc.

I hate him for most of the reasons already listed by people.
I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager.

In terms of footballing ability he is obviously a fantastic talent and is a world class player, despite a very poor world cup (which should not be the deciding factor regarding his talents, seeing as other world class players like Torres and Rooney have also been rubbish).

But he is clearly a massive twat.

It was arguably Quieroz' negativity that made Portugal lose. Not Cristiano Ronaldo. It's because we expect something from him every single match (which he more often than not delivers to be fair) that when he doesn't he get's more of a slating than others. That and i can see why people dislike him, i just don't.

He is devasting when he's on top form. But he's a tempremental fucker at times. He was absolutely gash against Spain, in a game where Portugal needed a leader to rally them in the last 20 minutes, he just ponced about like a big giant greasy quim.

He just suffers from cuntishism, and always will.

I probably would have punched the cameraman.

I'd understand him being pissed off at having a camera right in his face after being knocked out of the tournament, but it's hard to feel sorry for him, when he's trying to get on TV all the time when things are going well for him with stupid little poses and over-dramatic shite...

He is a c*nt. But if you spent so much time at Manchester United and then Real Madrid, you'd adapt to your surroundings too.

As a footballer he's excellent. Not just in terms of pure talent, but he applies himself fully on the pitch and in training. He has a winner's mentality and absolute drive, something I wish more of our squad had. I appreciate those things about him.

As a person he's a massive, massive wanker.

If he wasn't such a good footballer -even though he can't peform on the big stage.. I'm mean you don't get far in football if your shite..... no what I reckon and I might burnt here, is that footballers who come from' lesser' background hackgrounds tend to not to know how to deal with earning shite lots of cash -were under heaps of lots of pressure in thier personsl life's starting to earn the cash.

Right now C.Ronaldo's parents live in Perth Australia, not doubt Ronaldo paid for -bought a house etc etc... then next thing you know everybody trying take a ride on your success -so called 'friends', personal managers and all that.....

What Im trying to say is that kinda thing can turn a good person into a c*nt and when you came from nothing, now made it big but only have people who had a easier life want money some of your money....

I suppose all you can of fuck you but how you say that if don't know who friends are? It's easier to say fuck you to world in thier twisted heads..

There are a number of footballers who, based on how they behave on the pitch and off, who you just think even if they were just in some ordinary job and you knew them, would be absolute tossers. John Terry springs to mind. I hate anyone who plays for Man Utd. Ronaldo is one of a few who fall into both categories. I also hate that by virtue of his name, he takes away from the real Ronaldo, one of my favourite players of my generation. The prostitute thing doesn't bother me

I've seen him play in the flesh for Man Utd at St James' Park, new Years day a couple of years ago and i have never seen a so called professional footballer act such a bad manner.  He must have went down on the deck 6 or 7 times that day trying to get free kicks and our players booked for sweet fuck all.

I also remember him winking and looking dead smug when Rooney was sent off for England.  Even though I can't stand either of them it was shithouse thing to do.

Hate him with a passion.    :wave

I must have been watching a different Ronaldo last night...

Ha, I knew someone would say that. He definitely applies himself fully to the attacking side. Rightly or wrongly tracking back/selflessness isn't a big part of his game, he's good enough that teams are shaped to suit him and defensive duties don't seem to be a big part of his role.

I know he's petulant, selfish and he always wants the glory. A manager like Ferguson or Mourinho will get the most out of him with the least of those traits. I don't think Queiroz is strong enough. It's this fact, that he does have to be managed, which is why he will never be as good as Messi who simply produces.

I'm not saying he should be a role model for professional footballers. But I think there's a lot out there, including some in our squad, who could step up a level if they wanted to win as badly as plastic Ronaldo does.

He shouldn't be the captain anymore than Gerrard should, although of the two I'm more surprised by Ronaldo being captain. I'm not sure he'd even understand how to lead anyone but himself. Players like those should be left to play, an outstanding player is not the same as an outstanding leader.

Remember when everyone skinned Itandje alive for his behaviour during the Hillsborough memorial? His crime wasn't because he was thinking about himself, he was just being immature. And he later apologised too.

Ronaldo is a bigger c*nt (of epic proportions) for the disrespect he showed towards the Munich ceremony. No apology after. It perfectly summed up the 'man'. Not because hes immature, but because hes an arrogant, self-centred, bigger-than-eveyone, attention-seeking, selfish, greasy bastard.

Oh and the fact that hes a diving pussy on the pitch too.

He has no class whatsoever.

So do I dislike him? Go figure.

It is the club's media day building up to the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster and Sir Bobby Charlton's polite smile does not hide the fact he is trembling as he takes his seat. Bill Foulkes is straight-backed and dignified but only a couple of questions have been asked before the tears appear in his eyes and he reaches for a glass of water.

In an adjacent room Wayne Rooney has agreed to offer a modern-day perspective of that seminal day when 23 people, including eight members of Sir Matt Busby's team, were killed in the wreckage of the burnt-out BEA Elizabethan. It is not his specialist subject but he handles the occasion with dignity and more eloquence than some people might imagine.

But then Cristiano Ronaldo comes through the double doors and the mood is broken...

Just an off day? Try an off 3 weeks..

I mean Portugal's 7-0 win over North Korea, how many of those 7 goals was he involved in apart from the one were he got lucky and the the ball bounced of the back of his neck... shit every time Portugal got possession and started looking dangerous I was hoping they would pass the ball to Ronaldo so he could fucking it up for them, seriously.

Ronaldo is a c*nt though.

true.

being Portuguese and covering the Portuguese media a lot I have seen various confirmed stories about, he buys various houses for his Mother, he bought houses for all his cousins (there slike... a lot of them) he funded one his sisters careers (she went and called herself "Ronalda" to rid eon his names weight) and he bought a chain of clothing stores for his other sister.

he distributes money to various member of family  as in pretty extended like aunties, second cousin etc... doubt many of us do that and all the millions he gives to charities.

he may have his dives and moans and winked once in 2006 but I wouldn't say he is a bad person inside from those things alone.

plus doing that like said above probably turned him into a bit a prick they are all riding on his success and the man who pushed for him to have those skills (his father) passed away so that was probably one person who was keeping his feet on the ground gone.
