Not exactly rubbish prizes, but its the only time I won anything, so here goes:

When I was about 12, we were walking around town and came across a Marlboro promotion (kids these days don't know they're born). There was a prize draw, so we filled in cards for all the family and put them into the prize draw box. As soon as we had done that, they declared the time for the prize draw had come, picked up the box, and started drawing cards out from the top. Guess which family won lots of prizes! We won a large sun screen umbrella that lived in the garden for years, my little brother won a swiss army knife, and I won...a large box of cigarettes! ;D

Your prize is probably worth the most monetarily nowadays.

It looks cheap. I usually say when these mock ups are rolled out every year that people will moan but then say it looks better on the players, but this one just looks reallyyyy bad.

Nike's design department are clearly burnt out and jaded too. That's the kind of thing you come up with when you've run out of ideas. The collar, cut off at the collar bones is plain ugly. The whole thing looks messy and cheap. Thing is, it'll cost over a hundred quid. I suppose this is what happens when you have to reinvent a shirt every single season. There's only so many decent variations before you have to start clutching at straws and getting creative a bit silly. There's more important things in life to concern ourselves with, of course, but it's still an awful attempt if you're a highly paid sportswear designer.

Could be a big season for him next year with a new Dutch boss coming in.

I love the lad. He doesn't stop trying. He's fast as fuck. I really want him to succeed but I just dont think he is the kind who'll be a consistent performer for us. There's bits he genuinely lacks technically. His composure for finishing is on and off and his first touch is basically a roll of the dice. Add to that the consistent offsides where at times in every game he just loses his focus and is so easy to trap offside. He has the physique to hold up the ball but he doesnt win most aerial duels. I just dont know with him anymore. I wanted him sold last summer, then he had a nice purple patch in the season and I thought he'd turned the corner. Maybe that's just the player he is. One with brilliant workrate but his performance could be anywhere between a 1/10 to a 10/10. If we need results week in week out, I dont know if we can accommodate that.

We had Taffarel at the club???

Wow, did not know this.

 ;D
He’s been here a while. Wikipedia informs me, 2021.

Pressure is off AND the players know they have a new set of eyes on them.

Everyone should be jostling and thinking about their futures for next season.

Jayden Danns deserves some minutes too; perhaps he can show Darwin what to do when he has the whole goal to aim at.

3-1 to us.

Up until a few days ago I’d never heard of Arne slott ,didn’t know anything about him,but then again in 1974 ,I’d never heard of bob paisley.
Bob who ?,a 55 year old ,second fiddle to bill Shankly that most Liverpool fans didn’t even realise he existed.and in the media at the time the reaction was the same.even bob didn’t want the job and thought he would be keeping the seat warm till shanks had a break and wanted to return .
But he took the the job ,the hardest task of all ,following a huge legend like shanks he was on a hiding to nothing, couldn’t possibly succeed .but we gave him our support and backed him ,wanted him to succeed and boy oh boy did that quiet ,unassuming man succeed.he took us to new greater heights we never thought possible.
All our managers were given time and support even the owl ,although he was quickly found out .
Just give Arne slot the time and support bob got all those years ago .if it turns out like the ride  bob took us on then we’re in for one hell of a ride .
