I booked shortly after the draw was made but made the mistake of waiting until it was confirmed in Sofia. Cost £230 return flights and two nights in hotel. The one and only reason anybody should use TC is to get on the ladder. They sort your ticket and it's recorded in your purchase history. If you're already on the ladder, there's far cheaper ways.
Hypothetical question this but if we drop into the europa league, will games go down to all members? Obviously would depend on the allocation
Would've thought so mate. All four games last time did.
You think if you have 2/3 CL away's from this season on your ST you will be pretty much sorted for anymore away's this season or next?
Yeah see I've got no away credits, this is a good chance to get on the ladder, I can usually get tickets off the lads etc but be good to have my own going forward
Phil, I've also got a spare but due to work commitments can't now travel as planned. If I pass my ticket to Wayne would you mind taking it over with you & seeing if you can sell it before the game ?
You'll have to bear in mind though that you'll still only have 1 away, whilst there are at least 4,000 other with at least 1 away. If we were to go through, I reckon you'd end up having to do at least 1 more through TC before you can make you're own way. A bit of a calculated risk.
The one night package with Thomas Cook is working out at £414 now with ticket included, is this value for money compared to what others have paid for flights, hotel and transfers?
Bulgaria I think..
£126 from Heathrow to Sofia with British Airways and £70 for a two night stay in a four star hotel(sharing). Took the gamble of booking the flight to Sofia on the day of the draw.
Our group will have a couple spare. Do you think there will be people out there or before hand who'll need a ticket or do you think it'll be like the Europa league with only a few there?
Just found out my hotel in Sofia has a strip club in the basement. Should make for an interesting stay!
same trip now by BA would cost you nearly £800. So you must be pretty smug about that. Have a great trip, look forward to the tales.
No chance. We managed to get flights, ticket and accommodation (4 nights stay) for ~£115 direct from Manchester. Thomas Cook are a bunch of touts
Anyone had their tickets through the post for this yet?
I'm going with my uncle on the 06.00 manchester Tuesday we haven't got tickets sorted so deffo looking for spares.
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.
Makes up for Swiss Prices !!!
I'm not smug Kev only relieved that i took the risk in booking up a flight to Sofia when the draw was made. Pity you are not joining us for this one.
a lad who lives there said Murphys is dearer than most, Crossroads pub is owned by a red with lots of memorabilia up in the bar 👍
Googled this. Not coming up with anything. Can you get an address of the lad. Wouldn't mind checking it out if it's not too far from hotel
it's Crosspoints mate
Cheers. Found it now. Right next to the ground. Might go down there for the last couple of hours before the match
