Their Home form has them bottom, their away form 12th in the league. Hopefully they can help us out. Unlikely as it is.

Really? He's no world beater but if you think he's shit, I dread to think what you'd call the rest of the Sunderland team! (Apart from Fabio, of course)

There is a reason they are where they are mate.

Considering they battered Newcastle not that long ago the wheels have fallen right off.

who will mark Andy on sunday ? I would go with Skrtel and on set pieces, maybe have 2 players on him, not scared, but it really is their biggest threat to us.

Yes. He is. It's bound to happen. And it will be from a Downing cross. But we will hopefully still score a few.
Nice Moyes impression.

Hopefully we'll try to get some shots on target and maybe nick a few goals.

West ham have not much to play for after this win. Good news. On the other hand they might just play without pressure

My one of my best mates is a WHU fan and still reckons we will absolutely stuff them this weekend.
I watched a YouTube video and decided that Paul Konchesky looked like a player.

Great news that West Ham are winning. Virtually assures their safety (11 points clear of danger with 6 games to go). Very little for them to play for on Sunday. We will be a day fresher than them too.

Sunderland hurry up and lose, then fight for your dear life against City and Chelsea.
by the time they play them it looks like they'll already be gone as I can't see them getting anything from this game now, the only chance they have of any points is Cardiff away, their games before City are

Spurs away
Everton home
Cardiff away

then it's
City away
Chelsea away
Cardiff home
Utd away
West From home
Swansea home

They are doomed and don't see them helping us out against City and Chelsea

Then again they are playing Moyes Utd at OT so every chance of 3 points there!
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Just tuned in and fast forwarded through the first half. It wasn't very unpredictable that Carroll would score from a corner and Webb would massively bottle out of giving a penalty.... Seriously, what was he thinking. Even the worst grass-roots level referees would have gotten that one right.

West Ham look solid, Sunderland total dross though. Shocked that they went with 3 at the back again against one striker. Imo the way to deal with someone like Carroll is to take away his supply, and that means pressuring the ballcarrier in midfield by having an extra man there instead of 3 at the back.

Hopefully Skrtel can man handle Carroll enough next week to keep him from scoring. Gonna need a big performance from Mignolet to claim crosses

Is it better for us if West Ham win this game?

On one hand if they win they feel less pressure to win next week and might play with more freedom; but one the other hand having pressure to get a result might make them more intense to play against...

I for one just want one thing from this game and that a red card for Caroll  ;D

Adam Johnson still looks class, what's Poyet doing not picking him?
apparently he doesn't like him as he thinks he looks like George Gideon Oliver Osborne, son of Sir Peter Osborne, 17th Baronet of Ballentaylor and Ballylemon and Felicity Alexandra Loxton-Peacock, educated at St. Paul's and Magdalen College, Oxford!
