They are an average side that's overperforming. Credit to Howe for that but I think they'll run out of steam this year.

In the words of Phillipe Auclair. Eddie Howe you are a midget.

This club, their shameless fans and their spineless manager represent all that is wrong with football in 2023. They will start winning major trophies soon with their bottomless pit of resources, so for now I’m going to make the most of afternoons like this.

After all the gushing about them before the match I thought they looked average, we were there for the taking in that first 45 and they didn't really have a go at us, they kinda sat back, nobody really took responsibility.

Last season was weird, an anomaly, I can't see them finishing in the top five or six, I think Howe will get the boot if they're sat on four or five defeats by Christmas, they have two already and Brighton could beat them.

11 in a row. Remarkably we lost and drew to them in 16/17.

The Saudis getting involved with Chelsea has certainly reduced the pace of their investment at Newcastle. Even though Guimaraes, Isak, Tonali and Botman are talented players, the likes of Willock, Gordon, Barnes and Livramento are hardly on the same level. They will probably invest harder in the future, but so far they've been pretty conservative ...

Newcastle look very, very poorly and well they might. They’ve learnt a harsh lesson today, one that’ll rankle for quite some time. Long term, they still look in better than Liverpool, but as we said earlier, elite-level attackers and attacking options can cover a multitude of flaws.

What a load of balls. :lmao

They had what, one or two clear chances outside of the goal which we handed them. They weren’t anything special. That was a solid performance away from home by us, like Chelsea, but we made the most of the chances we created on the counter.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

‘Only’ 7 saves as well. Some of the keeper from the shit sides make that many most games I reckon.

When I heard that, I thought immediately 'fuck me, he must have saved about 15 shots'.

Only for the stats to show up and show only 7.  ;D

It's going to be a wonderful day when the Saudi's bin off Howe and Tindall. Two absolute no marks who think they're big time because they've been given some blood money to spend. They'll be out on their arses in no time and managing QPR.

That's because Endo marked him out of the match. Some missed it and think Endo had a poor match.

The barcode fan base are so small time and success deprived. I literally felt we were at goodison as they cheered and hailed straight forward passes, winning throw ins and almost every ref decision. Hilarious how they all steamed out at 1-2, mentality midgets. Also what is this “newcastle aura”, carragher and neville kept saying they were favourites today and on the up. Outside of Bruno I wouldn’t take a single one of there players in our first team. Howe playing cowardly football like his idol Simeone, but unlike Cholo his team were wide open at the back and got done by us when we turned the heat up after the final subs.
