Wales very deep in defence, standing off far too much now giving them too much space.
Yeah it's a strange one. I can see why we'd play that way when one up, but at the moment we're inviting too much pressure and not doing enough going forward.
It's funny because we were a very solid defensive team in the Euro 2016 qualifiers and that's how we managed to beat Belgium, Israel, etc.
But then in the Euros our style had to change, and we genuinely outplayed Slovakia, Belgium and Russia (the latter two in particular). So we need to remember that we'll give anyone a game.
I completely understand that we can't go gung-ho in games like tonight. After all, Austria have a great recent record in qualifying, particularly at home, and a draw would be a good result for us here. But neither do we want the game to pass us by like the England one did.
