I don't really understand Strachan's personnel decisions. In the past when Rhodes was banging them in for Blackburn he barely ever made the squad and the likes of Griffiths hardly ever start even though Martin is doing nothing at club level.

In all seriousness though Scotland aren't playing that badly, the build up is decent it's just the final ball that's lacking. Forrest wasted a great chance not too long ago.

Didn't know Denmark were coached by Mourinho there they were pretty classless on the penalty.

The Czech Republic aren't what they used to be, but Germany looked so strong yesterday. They don't have many weaknesses, if any.

Could do with a 2nd - Georgia look ok on the counter-attack - and worked a couple of decent situations. Bit unlucky with the freekick that hit the bar too.

Fair play to the co-commentator on Sky - pronouncing some difficult Georgian names well, giving both sides credit and calling it evenly - without belittling or doing a patronising or one-eyed spin on the opponents.

I guess if you was really nitpicking you could say they're short of a top centre forward but it's hardly a glaring weakness.

Georgia are really terrible these days. They're ranked 137th in the World now. Still, they have Weiss in charge now who got Slovakia to the World Cup in 2010 so improvement should certainly come sooner rather than later. Ananidze is quite a decent player.
