YNWA VLADDY LAD!
She keeps getting texts off him saying "Oh please take me back, I love you and I'm still not over you". We read them together naked and then we laugh about it. Then she blows me off.

for such a talented player, its a shame his career at anfield never really took off the way i promise to do when we saw glimpses of his skill in between injuries and fitness worries. i always liked him, and it is a shame for him that a lot of fas never really warmed to him the way they have to others. he genuinely loved this club-not in the way we do as supporters, but in a respectful way- and he wanted to play well for us and be successful for us. it just never really went to plan.

vladi i wish you all the luck in the world, take care of yourself, thanks for the memories YNWA

he wasnt. if anything i would have thought what you'd have seen of him in his recent appearances wouod prove he was a very talented player

his career here was marred by injuries, so he never really got a sustained period playing in the first team, so we never really saw the best of him.  by the time rafa arroved, he was never going to displace the more established first team players, and garcia has certainly proved that he diserved to be starting as many games as possible, despite his sometimes dodgy premeirship form

vladi wasnt the greatest player in the world, but he ceratintly could be better than the average

Vlad has probably played a dozen or so good games for us over the years, mabye a few more. Always had the talen but just seemed to get injured at the wrong time and was never used in his preferred role. Saying that I always thought and still think he was not consistent enough for Liverpool FC.

However Vlad helped change the game. The second goal...and rewatching the game, he started the move for our third with a pass outwide to Jamie.

Thanks Vlad, you are welcome back anytime. I hope you stay in the Premier league so we can clap you when you come back.

Vladi's had a tough time of it over the years, but he's always tried and by all accounts he's one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

Although he hasn't always performed well, there have been signs of class and I can't help but like him.

Nice one Vlad, made up for you that you've gone out in style.

What a way to bow out! How perfect can it be that your last touch in a Liverpool shirt is to score the penalty which won the European Cup, having earlier scored a crucial goal that turned Gerrard's consolation into the goal that scared the life out of Milan?

A shame about all the injuries, as he has the talent. He's always been one of my favourite players, but more in hope than in what he delivered. But he played a big part in 2001, and while he didn't do much at all this season in his limited run-outs, he more than delivered on the biggest occasion.

Is there anyway RAWK could put together some sort of card or email together with supportive comments and send it to Smicer(and Hamann should he be leaving)?

I'd hate the guy leaving thinking we all hate him, when we all respect the difficulties he's had with injuries and thank him for his two massive contributions in the final.

Just a thought...

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but can anyone tell me if Baros actually got the last touch on Smicer's shot?

Obviously it's Smicer's goal, no doubt, but it looks through my dodgy eyes that maybe the ball skimmed off Baros and changed direction slightly in the process.

His form, in limited games, since his return from injury has been encouraging. I honestly believe he should be given another year, as the kind of commitment and ability shown at home to them from across the park and in the final, isn't something that's easily found.

He'll be better under Rafa than Houllier cos of the style of play. On the ball, is there many better than Vladi??

Good luck in the future mate, hope everything works out for yer.
