My favourite comedian. Took my other half to see him at Leicester Square theatre earlier this year, and unfortunately she didnt get it. Couldn't deal with repitition. I think she preferred Richard Herring,  who also happens to be a favourite of my mine probably because of TMWRNJ.

Have you listened to the Collings & Herrin podcast? It's Richard Herring and Andrew Collins - they're on a break from it right now but there are over 100 to listen to. Not for the easily offended mind.

Love Collings & Herrin, definitely worth listening to, though I'd start with the earlier ones first.  The one where he calls Andrews Mum a 'fucking idiot' is brilliant.

The one when Michael Jackson died is good, I think theres a run from about #90-120 which are the best I've heard (so far).

Saw him at teatime, his final Fringe show of the festival. It's been billed as 'work in progress' for his shows later in the year. There is still some work to be done, but the first 35/40 minutes were blisteringly good. You're in for a treat this autumn.

Also, leaving at an oblique angle as he is mentioned above and I am too lazy to search for his own thread.  Daniel Kitson's email list updates are worth getting just for a read even if you're not looking for upfront news on dates near you

Was very good. Better thinking back to it than at the time actually. Was very friendly in the foyer afterwards too.

Thanks for the tip. The missus nipped in earlier in the week and got a couple of tickets. Last time I saw him was in The Unity a few years back. First time I heard the Richard Littlejohn chiseling the word 'prostitute' onto a murder victim's grave gag. Powerful stuff. And the lengthy, trade-mark Tom O'Connor gag too. Can't wait.

This may seem blatantly off topic but hang in there for a mo.  Regular listeners to Radio 4's flagship Today programme will know that so that their pampered production staff (co J. Clarkson twat for hire) get time off at Chrimbo they have a week's worth of programmes over the festive period that are all produced by a different guest editor each day. Previous guest incumbents have included Colin Firth, PD James, Jarvis Cocker...   and this year one Stewart Lee will be taking on the role on New Years Eve.

Got a couple of tickets to see Stewart Lee live tomorrow night in London...got them for my sister for xmas but she had an accident at the weekend & can't go...can't get a refund so thought I'd offer them to any London Rawkites who might fancy it.

Don't want anything for them, so first one to PM me and perhaps offer to throw some money in the HJC or RAWK pot (or both).

Got 2 spares for Stewart Lee this Saturday night at the Phil. Gutted to have to let them go but don't think I'll be able to make the gig. Face value.
Would help if buyer could collect from south Liverpool on weds or thurs evening. But can be posted if time allows.
